- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem?
- Mukbox is an online marketplace that curates specifically non-perishable, healthy food brands for pantry categories including flours and baking mixes, snacks, beverages, coffee, tea, and so much more.
- While the market currently has a few key players, these players are trying to accommodate the entire grocery segment including fresh fruits and vegetables. By focusing on a segment of online grocery sales we can better serve our customers through an intense focus on bringing all the best healthy brands to one place. No more searching all over the internet or local stores to find products you love and can believe in.
- Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding?
- I am seeking funding because this business is entirely bootstrapped by me. I wear nearly all the hats! But funding is needed for:
- building inventory (the most important)
- moving shipping and fulfillment out of my garage to a real facility through third-party contracting.
- start working on an aggressive marketing campaign once inventory and shipping/fulfillment improvements are set up
- I am seeking funding because this business is entirely bootstrapped by me. I wear nearly all the hats! But funding is needed for:
- Who is on your team?
- Corina Marie Andariese, a former project manager and former software engineer at one of the largest online retailers in the U.S.; Walmart Labs. I am also a mother of 3 super cool kids and a wife of 17 years. Born in Texas and raised in Alaska. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and work hard on everything I do.
- James Andariese is a huge help to the business. He currently contributes part-time with finances, taxes, and any legal research needed. He is also my biggest cheerleader and greatest supporter as I begin this journey. Born and raised in Alaska, James has been programming and computing since he was 9 years old. He is also not afraid to shoo an Alaskan bear away from the garbage cans.

- Do you ship internationally?
- We do not offer international shipping on any awards that contain food items. We can ship stickers internationally.
- Can I customize my Snack or Pantry box?
- At this time we cannot accommodate customized boxes.
- But with your support, we can work our way there! We definitely would love to offer the feature and we can only get there with community support to get us into a proper shipping and fulfillment center.
- Can I transfer my award to someone else?
- Unfortunately transferring awards can get tricky on our end. However, you are more than welcome to give away or donate anything you get from us.
- Eventually, we would love to offer a food bank initiative to give away healthy foods to food banks in food deserts all over the U.S.
- I know you said I can support you without supporting space tourism for old rich guys. But are you planning on using my support for space tourism?
- NO! We believe that there is enough money coming into a business like this that we can invest that back into the company through better employee pay and benefits, more features and better service for our customers, and doing social good by donating a portion of profits to initiatives like the Charity: Water or GiveDirectly.
- Can I get Mukbox in my area?
- As an online e-commerce platform, we can ship your Mukbox anywhere in the U.S., and all orders over $40 get free shipping.
- We are working on scaling in the U.S. but we would love to be in Canada and South Korea in the future.
