Hello I am Julie Kyle, founder of Big Sky Simplicity LLC. I am so very excited to have the opportunity to share with you Big Sky Simplicity & the wonderful services it offers.
Big Sky Simplicity is the business I recently launched offering professional organizing services to both businesses & individuals. I have been called a personal assistant, lifestyle concierge consultant, professional organizer, & after finishing services a new best friend. Clients tend to give a title to me based on makes them feel empowered & I love it! I don't just walk in, do the work, & leave. I create a foundation that works & place the future in the clients hands. Individuals tend to have periodic checkins for maintenance after a big process, businesses typically have routine services scheduled.
Whitefish, Montana is home to Big Sky Simplicity. This is a perfectly dreamy little ski resort town that has really caught the eye of many in the past few years. The area is very much on the up & up with new individuals & businesses moving in. This makes now even more important for a strong introduction of Big Sky Simplicity to those looking to streamline their time & focus on settling in.
I plan on establishing a strong business account clientele. Business owners are busy, many times they don’t live in this area & manage from afar. I want to be the person they call for a quick, last minute need: myself as their notary public, messenger service, mailings, running to the copy center… I plan on being the one that sets their business up with an incredible workplace culture. This will be done through big day reminders (associate Birthdays/ Anniversaries), stocking & maintaining a phenomenal break room/entryway, setting up company events, organizing offices, & planning associate gratitude gifts/cards.
Big Sky Simplicity also offers wonderful individual services. Home organization, mailings, home management, drop off donations / library books, & so much more. Each client receives a complementary call prior to any services so that together we find out where they need the most assistance to free up their time & create a flowing space.
Virtual Services have also been added to cater to clients in distant areas & with visiting limitations.
As of now, I am the sole member of Big Sky Simplicity. With the growth in the area I foresee needing to bring on some team members in the next few months. Growing the company will increase the ability to share the joy of well planned systems, show that asking for help or delegating tasks is more than ok, & being able to partner with local nonprofits to plan collaborations.
With the help of investors I will be able to fully grow the business that I know will flourish. Funds are needed to assist in the setup of the website, hiring of a temporary marketing manager, a computer for on the go & able to video well for virtual services, certification with NAPO, product ordering to assist with client time management training, & a upgrade on business insurance to protect with enhanced services.

How did you come up with this business idea?
I grew up in a house filled with extremely unorganized, messy humans (my family that I love dearly). It drove me absolutely bonkers! I would wait until they were all asleep & then rearrange/organize the house. As I grew older I started organizing friends homes, offices where I worked, ... When I worked as an Optician (for over 15 years) I found one of my favorite things was to take a mangled pair of glasses & make them beautifully balanced again. Going to a NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) meeting was the moment I realized I could make my passion my profession. Years of pondering this idea is now my reality & I couldn't be more excited.
Why business services?
Through my years, I am not a spring chicken anymore, I found there was often an element of positive workplace culture missing. Business managers/ owners can get overwhelmed by the daily tasks of running the business & it is easy to forget the little people that make the big difference. A little appreciation goes a long way in the workplace & I plan on shining some light on this. Having an outside party (me) come in, is such an easy way to maintain business, grow associate engagement, & eliminate time stressing about what there wasn't time to do.
Are you crazy?
Nope, I truly love organizing, offering support, support those unused of where to begin, watching people freakout when they realize how setting up systems in spaces work, & everything that comes with this career.
