Greeting Cards that give back

    My name is Samantha Logan and I am an artist and entrepreneur that has created a greeting card company called California Sam.  My mission is to donate a large percentage of sales to local California non profits including the San Luis Obispo Food Bank, local women's organizations, and local environmental organizations.  Greeting Cards that give back.  The act of sending a greeting card is an act of love and I want to continue to spread the love by donating back into the community.  I have created Birthday Cards, Love Cards, Thank You Cards, Anniversary Cards, Blank Notes, and California Coast Postcards highlighting the Central Coast.  I am also developing holiday cards.

    There is a great deal of problem solving going on including creating a product that brings people joy and helping to feed people in need and protect the environment.  My desire is bring more beauty and love into the world.  It has a huge market opportunity for product sales of all ages, gender, local residents and tourist.  My plan is to launch a product that is carried in grocery stores and retail shops and available to purchase online.  

  I am seeking funding for the printing cost and the cost to set up displays in stores and general business expenses.  I am seeking funding because I have well over 100,000 in student loan debt.  I am not able to take out a business loan.  I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Art Center

College of Design in Pasadena, California and I attended the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.  I was waitressing prior to covid.  I am currently home with a one and a half year old baby.  I would be extremely grateful for the opportunity to start my own business.  I know I have a great product that the world needs.  I am just in need of financing to get the product into stores.
