1. DO YOU USE ANY ARTIFICIAL PRESERVATIVES OR HARMFUL CHEMICALS IN THE MAKING OF YOUR PRODUCT?

No. CRIA is an ingredient and science backed hair and brow care. CRIA is made from all natural and organic ingredients, which are considered safe. We don't use any FD&C colorants (which are derived from petroleum), petroleum derived chemicals or preservatives, harmful synthetic ingredients, artificial fragrances, parabens, sulfates, or GMOs. CRIA products are chemicals-free.

2. IS CRIA MADE IN A NUT-FREE FACILITY?

Yes, but we recommend not using CRIA if you have severe nut or oil related allergies.

3. IS CRIA A PEANUT-FREE PRODUCT?

Yes. We do not use peanut oil or any other peanut by-products in CRIA. However, we still recommend not using CRIA if you have severe nut-related allergies.

4. I'M ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS/NUTS. SHOULD I BE CONCERNED WITH POSSIBLE CROSS-CONTAMINATION WITH THE PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN THESE INGREDIENTS?

We take CRIA’s manufacturing very seriously. CRIA is produced at a nut-free facility under controlled and sterilized environments.

5. DO YOU USE ANY ANIMAL FAT TO MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS?

No, we don't use any animal fat, lard or tallow in our formulations. Our oils and herbs are all natural and organic.

6. DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?

No, we don't. We don't test on animals and don't buy ingredients that are tested on animals. We are certified cruelty-free by the Leaping Bunny program and support the Humane Society of America.

7. IS CRIA VEGAN AND CRUELTY-FREE?

Yes, CRIA is certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny program and is vegan because it contains no dairy-related ingredients. We only use botanicals and essential oils from sustainable producers.

8. IS CRIA SAFE FOR CHILDREN?

Yes. CRIA is formulated with natural and organic ingredients, but we recommend doing a test in a small area before using CRIA in case of any botanical allergies. Although CRIA can be used on children we recommend not using it for children under the ages of 13 years. Children, of any age, should not be handling CRIA. An adult should do the application at all times. Please keep CRIA in a safe place where children do not have easy access.

9. IS CRIA HYPOALLERGENIC?

We use only natural ingredients that should be safe for all skin types, however your skin or body may react differently to differently things. If you have extremely sensitive skin do a test on your scalp before fully using CRIA. CRIA contains only 4 ingredients so it is very easy for you to verify what you might be allergic to before using the product.

10. I WON'T BUY IF I CAN'T SMELL IT. WHY DO YOU PACKAGE YOUR PRODUCTS?

Only products with artificial preservatives, petrochemicals and synthetic ingredients like regular soaps and solid shampoos can be sold unwrapped or unsealed. An all-natural product needs to be protected from the environment as much as possible. Just the air we breath oxidizes the natural ingredients of any product, tremendously reducing its shelf life, not to mention that you wouldn't want to use a product that everyone has touched or tested. Bacteria is transferred and spread by touch. By sealing our bottles we are not only protecting you from bacterial contamination, we are also ensuring CRIA’s freshness and potency.

11. DOES CRIA HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE?

Yes. A sealed, unopened CRIA Hair and Scalp Booster bottle lasts 4 months from date of purchase and if kept in a cool environment. Once opened, the booster must be used within 4 weeks of purchase. CRIABrow Enhancer and Conditioner too must be used within 6 to 8 weeks from date of purchase. We use plant-based, naturally harvested alcohol. This alcohol, as a medium of extraction, increases the product’s shelf life as well as its effectiveness. Therefore, it is our natural choice, and we are committed to giving you the best nature has to offer.

12. HOW DO I RETURN A PRODUCT?

For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns, especially of opened bottles (broken seals). If unopened (sealed)/unused, we recommend that customers donate their purchase to those who may need it like cancer warriors (looking for organic products for their hair). 15. HOW MUCH OF CRIA DO I USE AT ONE TIME?

Enough to gently soak your scalp and run it through the ends of your hair. Your scalp should not feel runny or soaking wet. Use our customized applicator for precise application (included with every purchase of the CRIA Hair and Scalp Booster. For CRIABrow, just roll over brows twice and leave on for 1 hour or more. Wipe off. Use twice a day or as needed.

16. CAN I USE CRIA OVERNIGHT?

Yes, in fact we recommend it. The longer you leave CRIA in your hair, better the results, we have observed.  

17. IS CRIA AN OIL PRODUCT?

Yes and No! CRIA is not an oil product like ARGAN oil and the likes. It is an oil-based product that contains herbal extracts. CRIA is a very specific formulation, crafted to have a very light and airy feel unlike regular oils that feel heavy and greasy. CRIA is also easy to wash off with shampoo.

18. IS IT SAFE TO USE CRIA AS AND HOW I WANT?

Yes, it is! In fact we want you to create your own CRIA practices. CRIA is all natural so it is safe to use it as per your convenience and need. Unlike products that command you to follow specific regimens and warn you of dangers related to not doing so, CRIA is about empowering you, making you the decision-maker in how, when, and for how long to use it. 19. IS CRIA FLY-WORTHY?

The current CRIA Hair and Scalp Booster 4 oz. bottle is not fly-worthy. We don’t recommend flying with CRIA because it contains alcohol and just like any other product that does, it might not be safe. We do plan on creating a fly-worthy version very soon so stay tuned! However, CRIABrow Enhancer and Conditioner is fly-worthy!

20. HOW LONG SHOULD I USE CRIA TO SEE RESULTS I WANT?

Depends on what CRIA is helping you with. In our trial study, people saw healthier hair within a week. Those experiencing deeper hair issues used CRIA for 4-6 weeks or more to see stronger, fuller hair. We recommend using CRIA at least 3 times per week. Using it regularly and for longer will yield results you want. Same for our CRIABrow.

21. I HAVE USED CRIA FOR 4 WEEKS BUT DON’T SEE ANY RESULTS. WHY?

22. I RECENTLY WENT THROUGH CHEMO’ AND HAVE LOST ALL MY HAIR. CAN CRIA HELP?

Yes! CRIA is good for cancer warriors since it contains only 4 all natural ingredients and is chemical-free. A cancer warrior we know used CRIA for 8 weeks, 4-5 times per week, and saw a 1½” of new hair in that duration. Without CRIA, a cancer warrior can expect to see only ½” or less of hair growth in 8 weeks post-chemo’ and sometimes none at all. This is also to say that results will vary from person to person. 24. WHY DO YOU USE ALCOHOL IN CRIA?

We use organic grain alcohol for herb extraction. Since our alcohol is natural it is good for the skin and body. Further, naturally harvested grain alcohol is a powerful extractor, drawing fully the most essential nutrients from an herb that adds to the potency and quality of the final product. This alcohol also acts as a preservative, maintaining the shelf life of an extract  and it also facilitates quick absorption of the essential nutrients from the extract into the bloodstream. This makes the product effective.

25. HOW CAN WHEAT ALCOHOL BE GLUTEN-FREE?

We use organic alcohol vendors who distill the alcohol to a point where all proteins and sugars from the grains used have been converted into alcohol. Anything that remains after is just distilled water left in the organic process of distillation. This means that none of the gluten protein is left in the alcohol at this high proof. This is why we claim CRIA is gluten-free.

29. DO I APPLY CRIA ALL OVER MY SCALP OR ONLY ON THE AFFECTED AREAS?

We recommend using CRIA all over your scalp every time. When you apply it all over the scalp, you energize all the hair follicles therein. This will promote new and healthier hair all over, not just the affected areas.

30. HOW MUCH OF CRIA DO I USE EACH TIME? WHAT IS ENOUGH?

The CRIA applicator will deliver the right amount to each section of your scalp. The “right” amount is enough to wet your scalp and hair, not drench it. Lightly massage into scalp and run through ends of hair. Use the hair band to prevent product from trickling to forehead, face, and neck. Wash with a mild shampoo. The product should come off in one wash because it is non-greasy. A second wash is recommended to get a clean feel.

31. CAN I USE CRIA ON WET HAIR?

We recommend using CRIA on dry hair. Your hair doesn’t have to be washed or blow dried to use CRIA, only dry. Dry scalp and hair allow the nutrients and antioxidants to be absorbed quickly into the tissues to begin the rejuvenating process.

32. CAN I USE CRIA BEFORE MY WORKOUT? WHAT ABOUT AFTER?

Yes, you can! Our founder applies CRIA before every work out. This means the product is left on for about 2-3 hours before she washes it off. Sometimes she will use it immediately after her work out. Leave on for an hour before showering.

33. DO I WASH MY HANDS AFTER USING CRIA?

Yes. Always a good idea to wash hands after using any product including CRIA.

34. HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MY CRIA BOTTLE TO LAST?

CRIA’s 6 fl. Oz. bottle should last a month and a half. But it all depends on how often you use it. If you are using it every day, then the bottle will last a month or less. If you are using it 3 times a week, then the bottle will last beyond a month. But we wouldn’t want you to worry about running out. You can always buy more CRIA whenever you need more. We want you to enjoy using the product and seeing all its good results!

35. CAN I USE CRIA EVERY DAY?

36. I FEEL A TINGLING ON MY SCALP WHEN I APPLY CRIA? WHY?

“Tingling” in this instance is the disinfecting affect of CRIA. When applied, CRIA’s powerful antioxidants zap the toxins on the scalp, allowing all essential nutrients to then enter the scalp tissues to begin the work of rejuvenation of the hair follicles therein. So tingling is a good sensation because it means good things are happening on and inside your scalp!

38. SOME PRODUCT TRICKLED INTO MY EYES. SHOULD I BE CONCERNED?

No, there is no cause for concern. If it does enter your eyes, wash it thoroughly with cold water.
