GB Pro is an independent content house providing development and artistic services. Whether we’re writing the scripts or running the show, we ensure a quality and inclusive experience from the moment the idea strikes to the first day of shooting. 

The company was founded the summer of 2020. In a quarantine world where we were all in a content and cultural desert Erika E. Wade, company founder and creator of The Juke Joint Live, created a virtual Juneeth party to educate and entertain. 

The First Annual Juneteenth Juke Joint raised money for bail funds to support the peaceful protests of police brutality in the US toward Black Americans. The event was more than a fundraiser or a party. It was a healing space for BIPOC to really release trauma and celebrate safely together. Before celebrations for Juneteenth become fads, they are historic gatherings to educate, celebrate and entertain. We did that. Then, the idea to continue making content in quarantine stuck. 

The Juke Joint Live brought staff, crew, and cast from across the globe to the virtual playing space. We allowed writers of color to tell authentic stories of how the real events happening in the world impacted them. The immediacy of producing a LIVE show brings a level of ingenuity and creativity to remote production. 

While we’re phenomenal at virtual production, the goal is to package each production to the appropriate media channel for the story being told and the intended audience impact. Simply put, if it’s a stage play with streamable elements, let’s do it! If it’s a scripted series for television, let’s make it happen. If it’s a web show that lives on Snapchat or Tik Tok, we’ve got it covered. 

Today’s audience is changing with every moment, every impactful life event, and every awakening of consciousness. Content has to change to meet the standards and lifestyle trends of our audiences.  Gatekeeping media channels aren't working anymore. Let’s create a new system that will. 

Even though GB Pro is a new company, the ideas that inspired the content and approach didn’t manifest overnight. Erika E. Wade’s experience in content production didn’t grow overnight either. As a writer, she’s spent the past 21 years developing diverse and multidisciplinary experiences in content creation. From Spoken Word slams to one-woman shows in New York City, Erika has mastered the craft of reading the room before telling a story. 

GB Pro is a LLC registered in the state of California. The principals of the company are and will always be the creation of inclusive opportunities for underrepresented and underserved communities of talent. We understand that experience is hard gained when the resources are disproportionately allocated. If you have the drive and the willingness to learn the skills needed to get the job done, we have educational ventures for you. If you have the receipts of success but need a platform to share your content, we specialize in building unique spaces for emerging talent. 

GB Pro does not currently offer financing services to entertainment projects. We are an independent company looking to collaborate with distribution and financier organizations in producing quality content.
