Project Description
- The mission of my project is to provide decluttering, downsizing and organizing services for elderly women.
- Elderly women have a hard time downsizing on their own. They usually desperately need help, but cannot afford it. They face problems like limited mobility, lack of energy, lack of motivation and most of all lack of funds. I would like to help as many elderly women as I can declutter, downsize and organize. This service would help raise their spirits immensely.
- There are hundreds of elderly women needing help with what I’d like to offer. Home organizing is a necessity for all of us. People are starting to notice more and more how having a functional, clean environment can really be beneficial. The market is HUGE for this service.
- My company helps individuals declutter and organize their homes and office spaces.
- I am seeking funding because I encounter a lot of elderly women that seek my help and they can only afford to pay me for a couple sessions. Even though my fee for the elderly is heavily discounted, they still cannot pay to complete the process. We usually make it to the declutter and downsize stages, but they need the organization stage as well because that helps them have systems in place to have functional days. I personally feel bad that I leave them and their homes incomplete. I’d like to go all the way with them and get them organized and with less stuff hanging around their homes that can potentially hurt them. I also try to volunteer my time as often as I can, but there is only so much I can do because I also need to work and pay bills etc. Help with funding would help me help them get decluttered, downsized and organized.
