Mission
Gifted and Aligned, LLC is dedicated to provide children and adults the opportunity to engage, learn, and practice holistic wellness. We are committed to enhance, strengthen, and empower your self-healing capabilities naturally, through our healing modalities and education. We believe in addressing the whole person- mind, body, and spirit.
Objective
Gifted and Aligned, LLC (also known as GAA) is a family holistic healthcare facility that provides quality care to clients at low cost. GAA seeks funding for staffing, operations, and marketing initiatives. GAA will offer holistic health care which will include yoga, meditation, holistic life coaching, therapy, holistic nutrition, massage therapy, energy healers, scholastic opportunities/workshops, and pastoral counseling. GAA will also have a zen room and a retail store to promote wellness, interest from passerby and social space for the community to connect.
Problem
The rates of mental disorders, food allergies, and children and teens attempting and committing sucide has increased significantly over the last few years. Over the last few years, there have been studies that people avoid seeking medical treatment due to the fear of being diagnosed with a mental illness, over medicating, and the side effects of the prescribed medications. As a result of the increased dependence on man-made chemicals and pills to control diseases has pushed, people are finding more natural forms of healing. Alternative health centers often focus on just one type of healing, such as acupuncture or herbal remedies.Studies have shown that meditation and yoga will increase mental focus and emotional discipline.
Solution
Gifted and Aligned, LLC will provide mental and emotional wellness and awareness in the community. We will provide affordable and quality alternative care to all clients. GAA seeks to change the stigma around mental health and make it our client’s priority to put themselves first. The African American community lacks knowledge and importance of mental and emotional health. GAA Wellness Academy will bridge the gap and be an affordable and quality service with our professional service and high performing customer service. As a result of our services, families will become closer and healthier.
The Market
The market is in need of the service line that is being offered by Gifted and Aligned, LLC. The current landscape is filled with businesses that provide costly service with relatively limited scope. With the increase in chronic health conditions, mental and emotional difficulties, and other illnesses, the market demand is precisely the area that GAA will address and will allow GAA to be relevant well into the future.
Business Model
GAA will charge a flat rate registration fee of $75 for individuals and $150 for a family two or greater. Pricing mentioned above will be based on an income sliding scale in the following manner.

Gifted and Aligned, LLC standard services and package plans for clients without discounted prices. The clients will be able to choose a package plan for their needs. To enroll at GAA, the client will pay a membership fee of $75 for individuals, $125 for families with one adult and one child 17 and under, and $150 for families annually. Then the client will choose a package plan for a monthly fee.

Team
About the Founder Deneisha Arthur is the founder and CEO of Gifted and Aligned, LLC. Deneisha has a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach. She has ten years of experience working with children and adults with learning, mental, emotional, and behavioral deficiencies. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at University of Houston-Downtown and her Holistic Certification at Legacy Health Institute. Also, she has excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and overall organizational skills. Deneisha is a highly passionate individual who puts her all into whatever she does. Her strategic planning and execution make her well suited to lead Gifted and Aligned.
Management Gap
Every organization utilizes diverse human resources to accomplish GAA’s goals and objectives. To accomplish organization goals and objectives, Gifted and Aligned, LLC may need to add more positions in the future, such as CFO, Finance Manager, Accountant, Sales Manager, and Marketing Manager.

How does Gifted and Aligned scale the pricing?
Majority of GAA’s services will be paid out of pocket by clients because most alternative health care services are not reimbursable by insurance. Although clients are paying out of pocket, it will be at a discounted rate. The client can also receive alternative health care through employee assistance programs (EAP). Some employers allow their employees to have at least 5 free sessions of therapy of their choice. GAA will charge a flat rate registration fee of $75 for individuals and $150 for a family two or greater. Pricing mentioned above will be based on an income sliding scale in the following manner.

What inspired me to start Gifted and Aligned?
Every since I was younger, I’ve struggled with anxiety, depression, and even attempted suicide several times in my adulthood. I’ve never felt good enough and had a lack of support growing up. As an adult I became functionally depressed, around my friends and family I would smile and laugh but felt alone and empty on the inside. When I was home alone, I would sleep in complete dark, sometimes in my closet, wanting to escape life. My daily life would consist of going to school, working, and partying on the weekends-sometimes during the week. I graduated college in hopes of becoming a nurse. God wanted me to go in a different direction, so I graduated with my Associates in Science and Bachelor’s in Psychology Degree and later went to school to obtain my Masters Degree in Social Work. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and I learned a lot about myself and how others deal with their mental health. What I found is that there is a huge stigma around mental health and that I wasn’t alone. Gifted and Aligned is about changing the stigma around mental health and normalizing it to become a part of a daily routine and a priority in everyone’s life, from childhood to adulthood.
