Sarah's Scottish Maids, located in Redding, California, was created from scratch by its sole owner/President, Sarah Wilson. This company was started June 1st, 2016. We offer cleaning services for commercial and residential buildings, post construction clean up, deep cleanings, one time cleans, monthly/bi-weekly/weekly cleanings, spring cleanings, basically any cleaning of the interior of a building is our business. We also clean windows interior/exterior/screens/tracks.

Sarah's Scottish Maids uses ONLY non-toxic and green cleaning products for the health and safety of our world and clients. We started using non-toxic from the start of the company because the owner, myself, has cancer and believes strongly about the use of chemicals and linking toward cancerous conditions.

The purpose of this business plan and to ascertain grant monies is for the benefit of our employees, clients, and bettering our team as a whole. We would like to maintain as the company that pays their employees the highest wages, due to their best abilities within cleaning and keeping our clients happy. Another purpose of the monies will be to advertise at a greater ability and target more people with billboard and t.v advertisements.

Our company grows, nearly doubles, on an annual basis. We are growing so fast that we cannot maintain enough employees for the amount of work that is coming our way. Therefore, we would also like to use the grant monies for employee advertisement, in order to cover more areas of recruiting employees at a faster rate. We would need to use the money to train more employees as well...which can be costly.

This company was started out of desperation from one single mother female with a cancer diagnosis that seemed to be the end all. I started the company from scratch, with my own cleaning supplies, and working 7 days a week to build a clientele. My daughter, at the time 6 years old, had to travel with me at night after school to clean offices. I have a lot of pride in this company and want to settle for nothing less than total success, which we have already reached. I want to be the best company in the area and the most enjoyable working atmosphere. We strive in creating a family atmosphere for our employees and clients.

The primary focus of Sarah's Scottish Maids is to increase marketing and service more of our local area as a whole. We would like to use grant monies to put our advertisement on local buses and local billboards. Increasing marketing would mean we would increase the number of employees we can offer jobs to and help more women and men in our local area support their families. 

We would like our company to remain the number one company in the area so that we know everyone is getting the best service possible. We truly care about our community and want to make our name known to everyone.
