The Holistic RN & Company is Alberta's innovative nurse-led health and wellness clinic, where we bridge the gap between western medicine and holistic healing to help our clients become their healthiest and happiest selves by actually getting to the root cause of their problems, rather than just using a band-aid approach to health.
Here's the problem: Right now Alberta's health care industry is in dire straights- there is currently an average wait of 6-12 weeks for a doctor's appointment- and a wait of 27.4 weeks for a specialist appointment.
Our emergency departments are overrun with wait times of 3 or more hours for medical emergencies, and people are getting sicker than ever. When you finally do get in to see someone, it's a five minute appointment where your concerns are not addressed, and you are handed a prescription and walked right back out the door.
What's more, is Alberta's current approach to health care is hyper-focused on treating the symptoms- and not the cause.
Think of it like this: when you have a light go off on your vehicle dash, you have two options to fix it. Find the problem or unplug the light. Our current healthcare system is too focused on unplugging the light. We believe in finding the problem instead.
At The Holistic RN & Company, we believe there is a different way to approach health- one where the client is heard, understood, and given control over their own health. We help our clients explore what is going on in their lives and help them make changes to their nutrition, lifestyle factors, stress levels and more, so that they can get to the root cause of their symptoms, heal their bodies, and feel their absolute best.
We do this by providing services like intolerance testing, expert health coaching, and customized health programs to help clients understand their bodies and take realistic, effective and targeted steps towards their goals. By layering in changes and helping the client shift their way of thinking, we are automatically increasing their chances of success.
What's more, is by helping individuals get healthier, we are also automatically reducing the strain on our emergency departments and doctors clinics.
The Holistic RN & Company is for any individual who is looking to improve their health and happiness, reduce or eliminate unwanted symptoms, and be supported by a health practitioner who actually listens and works with them directly.

I have been in the health industry for over 8 years now, where I first started as a bedside nurse in the hospital. It was around that time that I began to suffer with my own health problems that no one would address or take seriously. Instead of accepting what was happening, I took matters into my own hands and leveled up my education, learning everything I could about holistic health.
It was then that I realized how backwards our approach to health in the hospital is- and the idea for this company was born.
Over the last six years I've had the opportunity to work with many clients who are feeling exactly as I felt in those years where no one would listen- they are lost, alone and extremely frustrated, and it's time that changed.
I've walked down the same road and know first-hand what it's like to struggle with your health on your own- and with my one-of-a-kind approach, years of expertise and my client experiences, I am uniquely qualified to help solve this problem for you.
Best part? Our team is now built of 20+ likeminded nurses who are also fed up with the current healthcare system, and want more for you. We're eager to change things- and we know you are too.
We are looking to make a radical and disruptive shift to Alberta's healthcare industry this year, and we are on a mission to raise $95,000 to fund the opening of four new clinics across the province this year. We are planning to expand in Spruce Grove, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary- with additional remote/rural nurses in other areas.
Our desire is to change the current picture of health in our province for good, and we need your help to get there.

- What is The Holistic RN & Company? We are a nurse-led team who bridge the gap between western medicine and holistic healing to help individuals become their healthiest and happiest selves in the most natural way possible. We act as a health coaches, helping you make shifts in the areas of nutrition, lifestyle factors, stress management and more- so that you can get to the root cause of your concerns, heal your body, and feel your absolute best!
- Where are you located? Right now we have just moved and expanded our small clinic space from Stony Plain to Spruce Grove. We are opening a new large clinic in Edmonton in August 2023, and two additional clinics in Red Deer and Calgary of fall 2023.
- How long have you been operating for? Our company has been around for six years, but our name and vision had only just become crystal clear during the last few years of the pandemic. Up until January of 2023, we were just a team of three. Now we have taken a massive leap and hired on 18 additional nurses who will be coming into their roles in these new clinics this year.
- Who does your company serve? EVERYONE! Our nurses/coaches are each specializing in individual areas- like fertility, autoimmune conditions, trauma recovery, mental health, gut health, hormone health, and more. No matter what you are struggling with, we have a practitioner who can help!
- What is the purpose of this campaign? Our mission is to make a radical shift in our provincial healthcare system. Albertan's deserve better- and we are here to provide that. We desire to get the word out that we exist, and raise enough initial funding to get our doors opened to serve without government or bank backing.
- Why $95,000? As you can probably imagine, the start up of one clinic can come with a lot of costs- like rent, utilities, equipment, supplies, wages and more. We're opening FOUR clinics across the province to better serve Albertan's, and this will be enough capital for us to get our feet underneath of us so that we can show up at our best for you.
- Why is this in USD funds? I thought this was Canadian? Although we are a Canadian, Alberta-based company, the platform we have chosen to use for our campaign is in USD currency. After what we seen happen with other platforms who were raising money for a holistic cause, we have had to be very selective on who we choose to raise money through. - When can I expect to get my reward? We will begin contacting each of our funders throughout the campaign to help you get set up with your reward. Some of these might be delivered right away- and others might have to wait until our campaign comes to a close, when our nurses are moving into their clinic positions.
- I'd like to offer funding on behalf of my business, rather than as an individual. What can I contribute? Our campaign rewards are focused on the individual, rather than companies - but we'd love to work with your business!
