- Culour Magazine is New York's 1st Humanitarian BIPOC LGBTQIA centered magazine. We feature many different types of individuals who are making a difference in the LGBTQIA+ community of color . We created this publication to give a platform for individuals that want to see more of themselves in representation in Media and Journalism. Our companies long term goal is to create a TV, Film, Media and Journalism mentorship to at risk lgbt youth of color to provide them the skills to enter into an industry or become an entrepreneur in any of these fields.
- We would be creating a safe space to become productive in a world that has been cruel and not the most supportive when it comes to the future of the black and brown lgbt individuals as a whole
- This particular program has never been created in a full cycle of mentor- mentee- Internship style or setting for long term progression in the fields of arts, entertainment and Journalism
- Our newly created mentorship is about giving lgbt youth who are mentally physically and opportunity challenged a chance to see a future and have a great support system for advancement
- We are in need of funding this mentorship because for a program of this kind to operate to the best of its ability, it will need a great starting financial backing for curriculum and content creation, materials, a physical space and to hire instructors and the neccessary staff to operate this amazing program.
- I have an amazing team that has worked with us for over 4 years. We are currently a team of 7 at this moment. hoping to have a paid staff of 15 soon in the future
