Funding for Counseling Practice
I'm raising funds to start my private practice specializing in the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Project Description
Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidenced-based mental health counseling to those experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, individualized prenatal and postnatal planning, labor and birth support, and childbirth education. We want to create a safe, nurturing therapy space where people can receive holistic, wraparound services throughout the perinatal continuum, from the start of their fertility journey, to a year following their birth. We know that improving maternal mental health outcomes starts with a consistent, trusted relationship with caring, knowledgeable, trauma-informed providers. We want to use our startup funding to furnish this space so people feel equally comfortable coming to therapy as they are practicing supportive labor positions or breastfeeding/chestfeeding.
