ESHE Pay: Payments and Banking For Women.

OUR MISSION: Is to provide alternative payments and banking services specific to the needs of women. 

ESHE Pay will provide a fast, low fee, secure, user-friendly, empowering payments and banking platform, specifically designed for women, to close gaps and create more financial inclusion, provide financial literacy, bank the under and unbanked, and empower women globally through learning and community. We are in  process of developing an innovative payments and banking app designed exclusively and uniquely for women, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (MI), Large Language Models (LLM).

THE PROBLEM: Women still face financial inequities and need an alternative to the current offerings provided by traditional financial services. The financial industry has maintained a one-size fits all approach to financial services.  We believe "Financial inclusion" has become an industry buzz word that undervalues and undermines the financial power of women.  Women have trillions in consumer power however, we still lag behind financially. The statistics show that women:
 

• Are 5x more likely to live paycheck to paycheck. 

• Nearly 70% of millennial women don't save money because they are only earning enough to get by. 

• 60% of GenX women have only 1k savings. 

• Women graduate with more student debt and are paid less.

• Women of color have the added challenge of systemic obstacles to high earning and wealth generation.  

• An estimated 1.1 billion women are left out of the formal financial system. 

• The World Bank Global Findex data reveals that 55% of the global unbanked are women.*

• In developing countries, 59% of men have an account, compared with 41% of women.  
   

GLOBAL WORKFORCE OF WOMEN: We also need to address the obstacles faced by women working abroad, away from their home country's in low wage jobs, with language and system barriers that create obstacles and safety concerns.  As a result, many women are forced to remit through channels that charge higher fees, leaving them with less earnings with which to sustain themselves and their families. 

FINANCIAL INCLUSION: Is not just a buzz word for us. We believe that inclusion and cooperation are native to women and has been the way women has supported families and communities to survive and thrive.  The financial inclusion we want and deserve can only come from women supporting women.

THE PRODUCT: Our product will provide women with an alternative to traditional services. The platform will uniquely cater to the needs of women. We are developing a regulated, licensed, compliant and secure payments and banking platform that will offer an ecosystem of financial services and financial literacy education designed for women.  The technology we  use will enable secure, fast, cheap international money transfers, leveraging Blockchain and A.I. will ensure transparency, reduce fees and ensure secure transactions. A secure wallet will allow P2P payments in the chosen currency which can also be stored in the wallet. Identity and authorization protocols will protect customers against scams and hacking.

WHY WE NEED FUNDS: We are seeking funds to development the app, technical research, market research, legal, licensing, regulatory compliance, operations, customer acquisition, sales, human capital, beta testing and soft launch. 

THE TEAM:
Hi, my name is Dione Crutchfield Sparrow: I am a combat veteran who served during the Gulf war.  I have been fortunate to have over 20 years experience in several areas including corporate, not for profit, government, entrepreneurship and military service. My background has provided me unique skills. I grew up in a multi-ethnic, culturally diverse community with immigrants. As a woman of color and entrepreneur, I have experienced first hand different areas and levels of the financial system concluding that it does not work for women, especially women of color.

Hi, I'm Om Saetehn: I am a first generation immigrant to the U.S. from Southeast Asia. I grew up in Thailand with my mother who was a single parent. I have 6 years of experience in startup software businesses and software development cycles, spearheading, researching, developing web applications in a range of technology stacks. 

We believe our diverse background, technical, business acumen, understanding our customer's pain points, being a women lead team with an  intimate understanding of the problems gives us an advantage and qualifies us to do this work. We are as great team to provide a solution.
