Project Description
Erica’s Vinyl, founded in 2023, was born from a lifelong passion for music and collecting vinyl records from the past!
"My goal is to introduce people to music from every era, every country, and every genre"
I want to be able to give the opportunity to discover music; all varieties of music! Whether it's a mainstream artist's new album, to an unknown Indie band that deserves some love! Often, we become trapped in our comfort bubble of music variety and have a hard time expanding our horizons. My goal is to introduce people to music from every era, every country, and every genre (while introducing them to myself as well!). I continue to strive in my daily life to be able to do so and I truly believe that a record store is exactly the way for me to do it!
This online store is the embodiment of what will hopefully stand as a physical, brick-and-mortar store; and this provides a start in
the right direction. As I continue to expand the store, I am going to need all the help I can get to be able to continue to provide quality products with the proper equipment. Your help and donations will all go towards all of the expansion necessary! Hopefully, this small online business will blossom into the most welcoming and eclectic record store possible! Having managed a shop for 2 1/2 years, I can confidently say that I am well versed in this area and have the experience and knowledge it takes!
My passion for collecting vinyl started 16 years ago and has completely changed my life. I want to be able to do the same for others; in a space accepting everyone no matter what they identify as, who they love, or where they're from. Reaching that end goal requires a start, and this is it!

What kinds of equipment are the donations going to?
Record Pi: $275 (a machine that flattens out any warps in a vinyl record. They are magic)
Record Doctor VI cleaner: $250 (a record cleaning/vacuuming machine)
$1000 minimum order for the first order I place through the record distributor
New needle and headshell to ensure the best grading experience without the risk of ruining the records: around $150-$300
