Project Description
- Our goal is to provide opportunities for the youth of our community through volleyball. We will be hosting camps, clinics, youth leagues, and travel teams for ages 4-18.
- Our volleyball programs will help build confidence and team building skills.
- We hope to expand our programs throughout Humboldt County possibly impacting several hundred youth within our community. Currently, there is not another volleyball program like this in the county.
- The local economy is going through big changes and we are looking for ways to rebrand ourselves and invite visitors. RCV programs will do just that by hosting events and tournaments that encourage participants from all over.
- I am seeking funding to purchase balls, carts, bags, nets systems, portable scoreboards, coaching materials, and eventually to build a gym and outdoor volleyball courts.
- My team consists of myself and 3 other women in the community who love volleyball, enjoy coaching, and want to see more local opportunities.
