What is the mission of your company or project? 

Our goal is to break down the barriers that have traditionally limited access to luxury travel and create a more inclusive travel industry. We aim to provide curated travel packages that cater to various budgets, ensuring that individuals can find options that align with their financial capabilities. By offering proper planning, access to resources, and personalized support, we aim to help our customers discover exceptional deals and experiences that fit within their means.

Describe the problem you are solving: 

We strongly believe that luxury travel should be accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background or abilities. Drawing from personal experiences, we have identified that luxury travel often fails to cater to disabled bodies, creating barriers and making it feel inaccessible to our community (Africans and African Americans).

To address this issue and enhance our ability to serve our community along with disabled communities, we have decided to partner with a host agency. This collaboration will provide us with access to a wide range of resources that can be instrumental in improving the accessibility and inclusivity of luxury travel experiences. By leveraging these resources, we aim to create travel packages that are more accommodating and considerate of the diverse needs and abilities of individuals.

Our research has revealed that many people, in travel and other aspects of their lifestyle, tend to limit themselves to what they perceive as within their reach. Our goal is to reach three specific segments: the diaspora (African & African American) travelers, people with disabilities, and small business owners seeking to expand their reach through curated retreats.

Our company is dedicated to providing a "white glove" experience to all our clients, especially those hardworking individuals within our target markets. Whether it's during the planning phase, during the trip, or in the event of any issues or concerns, we are committed to going above and beyond to provide personalized and attentive support.

Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding? 

By securing this funding, you will be helping us with the following: 

Annual Membership with a Host Travel Agency:  We will be able to expand our outreach to our desired communities with the access we will gain through our new affiliation with a host travel agency. We will have access to invaluable resources and support offered by the host agency, along with exclusive industry knowledge, networking opportunities and other essential tools. These assets will significantly contribute to the enhancement of our services, enabling us to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers.

Jazpar's Brand Growth:  the funding will be allocated towards expanding our business on the backend through new business registrations. This strategic growth initiative will allow us to broaden our reach and maximize our potential within the industry.Additionally, a portion of the funding will be utilized to compensate our team for their dedicated work on upcoming projects. By ensuring fair remuneration, we can maintain a motivated and skilled workforce that will drive the success of our business.

Who is on your team?

Our team consists of three dynamic and talented women of color. The founders of our company are Jasmine and Robyn-Jade. Jasmine hails from Baltimore, while Robyn-Jade brings her expertise from South Africa. Together, they bring a diverse range of perspectives and experiences to our business.

In addition to our founders, we have an executive assistant based in South Africa who plays a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring efficient coordination within our team. Their contributions are invaluable in maintaining smooth communication and organization across our business activities.

As we continue to grow and expand further into the luxury travel industry, we have plans to hire an additional team member. This addition will further strengthen our capabilities and enable us to provide even better services to our clients. We are committed to building a talented and diverse team that can cater to the diverse needs of our target markets.
