Project Description
- Our goal is to create a space for all people to enjoy the joy of dance. By providing students with multiple level and genre options, we welcome everyone!
- We have been in need of growing for sometime now. We are in our 9th year and really put all of our eggs in one basket last year. We boosted each of our programs by hiring and maintaining professional educators. With that said, we made some big financial investments in hopes of being able to share our growth as a way of marketing. Now we are just trying to stay above water long enough and make it to the other side of this pandemic. As a whole the business needs financial help, but another important part is our scholarship program. We have several students at Elevé who are on scholarship. These students are dancers who want to further their dance education but do not have the finances needed to do so. We provide them with tuition, costumes, performance fees, performance opportunities and more. We believe that it this is one of the most important roles our studio plays in our community. Every child should be given the opportunity, whether they want to be challenged or just want to smile!
- Currently our studio has about 115 dancers with about 80 families.
- We provide dancers and families with a creative and healthy outlet. We all need to be able to let go, have fun and escape. Dance is THERAPY!
- We are seeking funding to help our studio make it through some current growth challenges as well as help continuing to fund our scholarship dancers.
- Our Elevé Team is made up of 7 dance educators, a financial manager, costume crew and many volunteers! Maricela Radke-Assistant Director/Educator (My Mother) , Ricci Milan- Tap Educator (My Husband), Stacy Boeddeker-Competition Director, Alejandra Iannone- Ballet Director, Darrius Strong-Hip Hop Dance Educator, Allison Liedman-Dance Educator, Sophie Boisvert-Dance Educator, Julie Raymond-Financial Manager.
