Elevated Hearts: U. S. Made, Charitable Clothing
Creating a more compassionate, connected community through apparel.
Project Description
Hi! My name is Molly Neenan. Along with my business partner Sydney Bauserman, I’m trying to fund my dream start-up charitable streetwear brand—Elevated Hearts. Streetwear is casual, modern clothing that has sportswear, Korean, and hip-hop influences. The funding will go to initial company development, branding, product prototyping/manufacturing, and packaging/shipping. The end-goal is to raise enough money to produce designs that reflect quality and can become staple apparel in your closet. I’ve spent the last five years with the idea to combine my love of fashion with my love of giving back to the community. Both Sydney and I agree that our clothing brand will be one of social entrepreneurship. The charitable aspect includes donating 15% of profits to organizations that fight for human rights and justice. Our brand not only provides apparel but also educates consumers on community/global issues.
As young women desiring to enter a saturated market, we strive to make an impact that sparks humanity into action. We need your help to achieve this dream!
Mission:
Our goal is to build up our community by helping those lost in all their passions find their missed connection/sense of direction towards where they fit in this opportunistic world. In order to contribute to the greater good, it starts with an attraction to a cause. In this case, accessible fashion that reflects your values, style, and aura. Elevated Hearts lifts its wearers to a vantage where they can find their ideals from an active, perspective-enhancing sense of self that benefits the global community. Each launch capsule/season a different organization focused on human rights/justice will be selected. This will provide people with more opportunity and education on community/global issues.
Our first launch is in support of Dirt Coffee: a non-profit focused on employing and empowering those on the neurodiverse spectrum.
For the fashion forward adult, Elevated Hearts is a brand that fosters self-expression and social change with unique designs that reflect individuality as well as give support to human rights organizations.
Where will your money go?
The first steps to the process will be officially branding the company and going through all the legal hoops properly. The next phase is to go into prototype development to perfect the clothing so it represents quality. After, the funds will go to the production phase: manufacturing, packaging, and shipping. We will be using sustainable polybags when products are shipped. Once our products get sold, 15% of the profits will be donated. This will also be the case for the funding phase. Our goal is to raise $22,500 in donations during this campaign. We are working and supporting an all in one manufacturer based in the United States which will mean higher costs to get things started and going.

What organizations will the 15% profits go to?
The donations will go to human rights & justice organizations to both support them and educate the masses on local & global issues. The organization will change each fashion capsule season launched. This allows more recognition to more organizations. The first company focused on will be Dirt Coffee. It is a nonprofit coffee shop that employees and empowers those on the neurodiverse scale.
