About the Founder
Introducing Sara Bowe: Licensed Professional Counselor, Entrepreneur, Educator, and Veteran
I'm Sara Bowe, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for making a difference. As a former elementary educator and military veteran, my journey in the mental health field began when I realized my true calling was in helping create better humans, rather than focusing solely on standardized test scores.
After a deployment with the Air National Guard, I made the decision to pursue a degree in mental health therapy. Opening my own private practice was a way for me to take control of my career and avoid the overworked and underpaid environment I experienced in the education system.
Throughout my years as a teacher, my military service, and my work as a counselor, I have seen firsthand the importance of prioritizing access to mental healthcare. Clients are tired of feeling unheard within the limits of Western medicine. The holistic field has its own challenges when it comes to integration, and I believe there is a powerful opportunity for clinicians and holistic healers to learn from each other.
By supporting the business operations of these practitioners, we can reduce burnout, increase the number of providers in the field, and ultimately create more space for healing within our communities.
I am thrilled to announce that my dream of opening a healing center is finally becoming a reality. With my expertise as a counselor and my extensive background in business, I am confident in creating a successful and welcoming space for individuals seeking holistic mental healthcare.
