This exquisite villa, retreat and event center was intentionally designed to incite small changes that have a big impact on the lives of our guests and the world around us thru inspiring travel experiences. Introducing Eccleswood Villa!
Two years ago, Nyoto & Curtis Loving, purchased a 3.5 half-acre plot of land in the jungle of Portland, Jamaica. Their vision was to create a space that would mirror the spectacular natural essence of Jamaica, while fostering ultimate health and vitality through wellness workshops, community events and transformative retreats.
As we begin to think about constructing the villas within the community, we are intentionally using building materials that have been harvested from the parcel. Additionally, locally sourced ingredients and supplies from neighboring businesses will be incorporated into the daily operational needs and menus. We plan to have a closed loop sanitary treatment system so as not to pollute the surrounding ecosystems.
It is said that you will never understand the power of your true legacy. A single life-enhancing contribution to the community can often initiate a residual effect. That community may go on to positively influence a dozen, or even a hundred other lives.
This is precisely what Eccleswood Villa aspires to represent - a legacy with a ripple effect that stretches far and wide. Within our sanctuary, we are devoted to shedding light on each members personal power amidst an ecologically friendly atmosphere. Our mission is to plant seeds of awareness so that our guests may be motivated to nurture themselves as well as our planet to ultimate health.

Located in the The Blue John Crow mountains of Jamaica, a spellbinding region, a UNESCO world heritage site that is part of one of the 78 most irreplaceable protected areas for the conservation of the world’s amphibian, bird and mammal species. Purchase a membership and come wind down in nature.
The exceptional Eccleswood team will host experiential dinners featuring traditional, natural and wild food, delicious Sunday afternoon jerk pit barbecues, wellness workshops led by the islands traditional herbalist and Rastafarians, long-weekend stays and unforgettable retreats. Our signature 5-day Jamaican retreat, for example, showcases the unparalleled natural beauty of Jamaica and area, our villa a gourmet menu featuring locally grown produce and meat, while offering a memorable introduction to the local culture.
Our goal to raise $1,000,000 USD is as big as our intention to provide our founding members with superior quality services, amenities and transformational experiences. We are not requesting donations. Your membership purchase will give you access to the unique events and adventures we offer.

- So where exactly is the project located in Jamaica?
- In the parish of Portland near Reach Falls
- What are the details of the membership; what will be included and what are the privileges/perks?
- This will be a member only boutique hotel. The immediate perks will be the exclusivity of the membership. We have other benefits and perks in mind but we would really like to have the members weigh in on this once the community becomes larger.
- Will I receive a membership packet or confirmation/status email with more information?
- Yes. You will be sent a confirmation email as well as subscribed to the member only news letter which will give updates of the project.
- Is your project timeline dictated by member sign up?
- Yes this project is driven by the community. We decided to take a spin on traditional crowdfunding. Traditionally you would fund a project and receive a token item like a T-shirt. With this project you will become a member and have exclusive rights to book a villa.
- Are there member responsibilities?
- There are no member responsibilities, we just ask that members share the project to like minded individuals.
- Who is in charge of and involved in the development of the project?
- Our founders name is Nyoto. Her Instagram is @lovingnyoto. She is currently heading the project along with her husband Curtis.
- Is there a board?
- Not at the moment, but can be discussed as the community grows.
- Will members have to pay per night booking fees or does the initial membership fee cover all future stays?
- Members will have to pay per night booking, we are considering offering a free night with a minimum 3 night stay as a perk.
- Will booking be on a first come first serve basis or is there a priority structure?
- The plan is to keep all members equal so booking will be first come first serve.
- Will there be a maximum amount of days members can stay?
- We have not considered this. We do not want to put a time limit on members initially. If there is a situation that is preventing other members from booking due to several extended stays we can address it at that time.
