Project Description
- Dixie's is an online Shop. My mission is to launch Dixie's and make the business successful before it's handed down completely to my son. One day, we'd love to have an actual shop but online only is what we're hoping to launch very soon.
- We live in Missouri and have already received my EIN, tax id number and purchased the domain. I've been working on the website and the problem I'm having if funding the products to purchase for Dixie's to be able to have a online grand opening and get started
- Since we're an online Shop, I don't have employees other than myself and my son, who does also assists in getting this started.
- I have gathered some items on Faire Wholesale and left them in my cart. Without products, the store won't make any money and won't have any customers to help us at being successful. To get us started we figured we needed to raise at least $3000 and we would be set up with enough products to start our shop and work towards being a successful online business.
- I have set up this Fundraiser so that I can order products for our Online Shop. I've worked so hard at getting this started and that's the only thing holding me back from being able to reach our goal and dreams. Dixie's was an idea that came from my son a few years ago. He is special needs and has an Emotional Support Animal named Dixie. My son's dream is to one day have ownership of this shop that is inspired by Dixie. Dixie is an American Pitbull Terrier, four years old and has a very vital role in our family. Without her, this family would not be the same. Once this shop is up and going, we will be taking a small percentage each day and donating it to the Missouri Pitbull Rescue Foundation to help support their cause and help give the dogs a second chance of survival. This shop means the world to my son and I. I would love nothing more than to be able to hand down the store to him and him feeling accomplished and proud that together we were able to make his dream come true.
