Project Description

I.A.F.A is an up and coming real estate management firm. We saw a need in providing safe, affordable, and better than average energy efficient housing to low income residents at the height of the devastation of the Covid Pandemic of 2020.

Vision:

To establish up to 10 residential housing locations within the next 2 years. Within the next 5 years we will provide housing for battered women and open a half-way housing for recently rehabilitated inmates.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide a better than average living to all individuals within the Arkansas area.

Staff:

C. Nadine Johnson. CEO. In charge of securing, developing and sustaining the functional growth of I.A.F.A

The Problem:

Rising income inequality, combined with high housing costs, and a shortage of affordable rental housing across the nation and particularly in large metropolitan regions, has been creating a significant financial burden for growing numbers of working families, especially those of low-income workers. The rental affordability problem is exacerbated by the shortage of affordable rental housing, as the supply of low-cost housing has dropped and new construction has been intended largely for the higher end of the market. The shortage of affordable housing undermines not only a swift economic recovery but also the economic competitiveness and productivity of metropolitan areas, as high housing costs affect regional economies’ ability to attract new firms and businesses and to expand existing ones.

The Solution:

Revitalizing the neighborhoods motivates change and effects the socioeconomic characteristics of communities. We aim to stabilize and strengthen neighborhoods by transforming publicly owned vacant land and buildings into community assets.

The chosen target market will be the residents of Arkansas. This specific group of individuals were chosen based on the following factors

Investing:

In order to officially begin, the company will require a budget estimated between $200,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. This amount will be collected from family, friends and you my angel investor.
