The Creators Vault

Welcome to the Creators Vault. We aim to empower black youth to become fashion designers through our creative hub that hosts textile machines, design softwares, instruction, and the ability to integrate the newest technology into their designs. Black youth are able to access valuable resources to kickstart their clothing line and aspiring designers are able to utilize our hub to create unique designs and transform their fashion businesses. As we are still in the ideation phase, we are looking to expand our team of diverse individuals. After a few years of modeling and thousands of dollars spent, I turned to fashion design. I never had the resources to start my clothing line so I had to spend a lot of time researching and trial and error in designs and taught myself how to use a sewing machine all because I didn’t have accessible resources and instruction. I knew that there should be a change in the way black youth and aspiring designers are exposed to fashion design and have accessible resources that do not leave them struggling to figure out how to design or pursue a business of fashion. So, why does the Creators Vault exist? One of the most prominent polluting industries is the fashion industry. It is the second industry responsible for pollution and The Creators Vault will slow “fast fashion” down and decrease the amount of landfill and microfiber pollution by increasing upcycling and reusing through our sewing instruction. There's another problem at hand where there are only 7.5% of black fashion designers, disempowering black youth to be a part of the fashion industry. And sadly, fashion school leaves people paying thousands of dollars to learn how to design fashion. By implementing textile machines where students are able to create, computers that have graphic and design softwares, instruction, and an opportunity to create in the MetaVerse, aspiring designers are able to utilize their creative abilities to make garments a means of expression. Our money flow will be powered by memberships, daily use, merchandise, and events. Memberships will be broken down into three tiers, all in which have different perks. In the future, we are looking to partner with larger companies to add value to our business. We are looking for $1.4 million dollars to help with student resources, salaries, studio creation and leasing, materials, and technology. Fashion is a 370 billion dollar industry and in 5 years we are looking to create unique technologies. The products of The Creators Vault are headlining designers which will add value into the diversity of the fashion industry. We are also an affordable fashion school.
