Project Description
Nurse MLB was founded by Mallory Bohling, MSN, RN-BC, a nursing instructor and practicing RN. After spending the last fifteen years in healthcare and navigating the education relating to advancing my career, it was noted that there is a gap in knowledge availability and application of resources. The goal of Nurse MLB is to gather resources in one location that assist in the process of determining which school program to attend, skills and knowledge materials while in school, preparation for NCLEX and employment. Content will also be available to promote application of evidence-based practice in continuing nursing practice for those who have gained employment in healthcare settings.
The purpose of this fundraising campaign is to offset cost of advertising, developing of products, and maintaining the information with evidence-based practice and application.
The major project that I am looking for funding for at this time is a Foundation and Illustration guide that all nursing students are required to retain for information in nursing school, NCLEX, and as a practicing nurse. Research has been completed which has determined there is not a resource that would meet this goal at this time. The goal is that the textbook would be interactive and cost effective for nursing students to improve patient outcomes and knowledge retention of students for application.
