Our mission is to provide scholarships and funding for culinary individuals. We also provide culinary mental health resources and mentorship.
We are solving the problem of having each culinary individual reach their goals a number of ways in their respective culinary programs.
The CookzCreed Foundation is about helping students and individuals create a space where they can get the materials they need to succeed. For example, if a student needs help getting knives, or jackets, or books, the organization can provide these things. Or maybe they are already in the field and need support or help with anxiety, we have the mental health resources and mentorship program.
Our Mental Health Resource Partners have become increasingly helpful and important to our culinary individuals, students and staff. Some of our partners are doing great things in the community as well as connecting with CookzCreed to bring awareness to those needing support through their mental health journey.
We are seeking funding to help grow our organization with partners, giving scholarships and funding, and resources that are pertaining to our students and culinary individuals needs.

Founder and the Why...
Founder:
Our founder Executive Chef Kisha Washington has been in the culinary industry for over 8 years. She and her finance had a dream to help other chefs through funding and mentorship, helping the culinary individual reach their goals. Before that dream could be realized, her finance passed away suddenly January 2020. Kisha then set out to make that dream a reality by starting two businesses. The Kitchen Spectrum Collective, a platform for chefs to get business items as well as CookzCreed Foundation, which the Foundation is dedicated to her finance Shaheed Claiborne. The dream has now become reality in helping those reach their culinary goals through multiple levels of progress.
Thank you to all the supporters and backers that believe in the mission and making CookzCreed Foundation a beacon of the community.
