The Car Lady Automotive - Dream Shop

The Car Lady is looking for funding to help build/buy our repair shop and allow more accessibility to our customers. Our dream is to create a safe space for folks to get their cars worked on without feeling like they have to be on high alert. With a new shop, our business can truly thrive and in return, allow our customers to thrive as well!

With this funding, we will use it in many different ways that will help give back to our community! Our goal is to build a space for vehicle repairs to be performed, a space to host classes, a large parking lot to host community events, shopping space for small businesses to rent out booth space so they can sell their products, car shows to help bring our community together and create more opportunities to give back, annual gifting events, and more!

When we say we want a shopping space included in our building, we want this to be a way for us to help support our local small businesses. We will offer unique booth spaces to be rented out so businesses can sell their products and get their name out. This will allow for a much more enjoyable waiting experience for our customers as we know waiting for your oil change can be quite boring. What better way to spend your time than supporting other small businesses and finding fun knickknacks? 

Let's talk about car shows. We don't want to host car shows that cause a ruckus (we promise, we will not allow unacceptable behavior), we want to host car shows that help raise money for charities & foundations, that bring in opportunities for small businesses to get their names out there via sponsorships or vendor spaces, as well as creating opportunities to bring our communities together! Our annual car shows will provide fun for every age and maybe even spark some inspiration for folks that attend.

Our annual gifting event is a way for us to help support those in need, we want to offer an annual opportunity for a person or family in need to receive a reliable source of transportation. Whether we think it or not, cars are big investments and when you don't have a way to get to work, pick your kids up from school, etc. it is a huge obstacle to overcome. That is why we want to help! The way this would work is, we will purchase a vehicle that needs minor work, do an in depth inspection (including powertrain internal inspections), perform all necessary repairs to ensure the vehicle is safe and reliable, then we will open an application online for folks to fill out whether they are applying for someone they know or if they are applying for themselves. Once the application period has ended, we will begin to go in depth on each application to choose the best fit to receive the vehicle.

Community is so very important to us and we want our community to know that we are here to make a difference. We aren't just a repair shop, we are a community building shop!
