Cancer Warrior

My name is Melanie Silke and I am a recent Ovarian cancer survivor. My last chemo was August 8th and as of now I am disease free! I am very blessed to have walked this journey and come out on the other side of it, there are many people who are not as fortunate. While I was on my journey, I found that there are many things that comforted me during this time that I would take to my chemo treatments that I noticed others did not have. It is now my mission to give back and provide to others the things that while they were not extravagant, comforted me along the way. I always took my bag with my blanket, hand lotion, journal, socks, ballcap (because Cancer took all my hair from the treatments) and wore my cancer warrior tshirt each time I went and sat in that chair for 7 hours every 3 weeks. I am writing to see if you would please grant me the funding to help me purchase all the goods to print my logo on to give back to those beginning the fight or currently fighting cancer. I created the logo Cancer Warrior, because that’s what we all are in the fight against Cancer. I would be very grateful for funding and cannot wait to do my part to give back.  I would continue to grow through social media marketing and would love to grow to ecommerce, I would charge for the complete kit that would include a tote bag, lotion, a tshirt and Lounge pants, socks, a throw blanket, Cancer Warrior wristband, journal, and a ballcap, everything that comforted me during my journey.
