Project Description
- Welcome to to glamping—where nature meets elegance. Glamping, short for “glamorous camping,” offers guests an unforgettable outdoor experience while indulging in creature comforts in a marijuana friendly environment with like-minded individuals.
- Glamping is still relatively new, especially in North America. The demand is growing as traveler seek unique experiences beyond cookie-cutter hotels. People crave an escape from their busy lives. Glamping provides a chance to disconnect, recharge, and reconnect with nature.
- Camp will be located in Maryland or Pennsylvania. All camping options will be eco-friendly, to lower carbon footprint and create a sustainable glamping experience. The camp will have yurt sites and bring your own tent sites and in the future cabins. Each site will have composting toilets, solar powered lighting, jackery power for water, wood stove and propane for heat. Each site will have smoking devices available in states where marijuana is legal marijuana will be provided as a welcome gift and guests are permitted to bring their own. In medical only states guests may bring their own only.
- Camp Wake & Bake will offer optional classes and activities some will be an additional charge for supplies. Reiki massage, drum circles, full & new moon ceremonies, gardening & sustainable living classes will be offered.
- Camp Wake & Bake is seeking funding for set up and opening costs. The funding will be used for land purchase, permits, materials, and supplies.
