At Hitroff Consulting our mission is to assist our clients in understanding the importance of bookkeeping and record retention is to their business, not just as a budget and forecasting tool but how their method builds the foundation of their business. 

Our services are designed around our client's needs they come to us for one time assistance in rebuilding accounting records, bookkeeping clean-up, merging from paper to cloud-based software, and/or training. We have some clients who seek our assistance once a month for reconciling, and currently we offer limited full-service bookkeeping and payroll along with business analysis.

Business analysis is offered to our clients to assist in identifying areas that can improve functionality, create job descriptions, update policy & procedures and streamline internal processes.

We're not your average bookkeeper; we do not go into businesses and do their books we teach our clients how to maintain their records and bookkeeping.  Our target market is gig, micro and small business that require less than 15 hours a week and as little as 1 hour a month in bookkeeping services, whether they utilize a software system or not, for those clients that still maintain paper records we will assist in implementing a bookkeeping and record retention system.

Tax preparation services, like with our bookkeeping services we don't just do their taxes we teach and guide our clients on the correct methods and practices for their business. Through the support of our clients, we offer Free mobile tax preparation to seniors. 

Our vision is building a strong diverse community that supports the growth in others internally, we do this through education, training and internal promotion based on an individual's performance. Both potential and current employees are offered the same opportunities to further education or seek additional training if they are seeking to progress into another position within the company. 

We have hired our first employee that is currently attending tax preparation classes and preparing for the Notary Public exam, we are looking to hire one individual as an assistant and potentially one more individual that will be able to assist in the areas of tax preparation and bookkeeping. Funding will help with working capital, web design improvements, and marketing. 

Our campaign will assist us in updating our systems in order to extend our remote and mobile services to our clients. In 2023 we will be adding Notary Public services, Life/Health insurance, SEP and Employee Retirement plans along with our current services.

How long have you been in business?

a.  We started as a sole proprietorship in Aug 2020 offering bookkeeping clean-up and tax preparation services to small business while attending Purdue University. We became an LLC in March 2022.

What will funding do for the company?

a. It will allow us to acquire software and equipment necessary to offer remote positions to our employees, along with updating our website and increase our presence through marketing and advertising. 

 What is the goal for the company?

a. Our goal is to provide our clients with extended one on one services to assist them through the learning curve in building a profitable business, this goal extends across the U.S because there are gig, micro, and small business everywhere that struggle with understanding the reasoning and necessity of record retention and bookkeeping.
