BP Coaching With a Twist Podcast and Library

We provide health and life coaching and consulting services, as well as professional and employee development courses, which include diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consulting and transformational training solutions designed to maximize return on investment while creating meaningful and lasting individual and organizational change for all clients served.

We are adding innovation, diversity, equity, and inclusion to the industries of health, life, and business coaching using a public broadcasting network, and the creation and management of an online course library that supports personal, professional,  as well as business development at reasonable rates.  Course completion is well documented and certification of continuing education provided to users upon completion of each course. The course library is designed to improve options available to satisfy required CEUs for professional organizations, licensure, employment, and personal goals.

Another problem that will be addressed is an increase in the availability of innovative down to earth and relevant health and life coaching information using  via digital broadcasting. For instance, for more than twenty years, there have been and continue to be so many one-and-done DEI training solutions. These traditional methods facilitate brief conversations and reflection about unconscious bias, cultural diversity, maybe equity, and to some degree, inclusion. However, the reality is traditional methods represent a surface-level approach that fails to generate lasting change.  We want to stimulate transformation and conversations that lead to positive lasting change, diversity, equity, inclusion, and healing.

There is a tremendous need for a podcast like BP Coaching With A Twist  and the online course library, which will include practical and interactive courses like Deep-Dive DEI Training created by the owner of BP Life Coaching Services LLC.  Nationally, there is an ongoing need for DEI training that goes beyond the traditional diversity training used for more than 20 years to preempt equal employment opportunity (EEO) lawsuits, but with meager results. The traditional approach fails to produce real change.  According to a July-August 2016 Harvard Business Review Behavioral Science report, “businesses started caring a lot more about diversity after a series of high-profile lawsuits rocked the financial industry.” E.g., Bank of America Merrill Lynch settled a race discrimination suit for $160 million, Merrill’s total 15-year payout to nearly half a billion dollars.”  To make matters more interesting, businesses are now required to report their diversity equity and inclusion efforts to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, who monitors DEI activity, and makes it public what corporations report, or fail to report.

There is an increased market for black-owned, women-owned businesses and creative approaches to providing personal, business, and professional services.  Also, since the COVID-19 pandemic took center stage of the world in March of 2020,  we have all grown in our dependence upon virtual platforms for meetings, education, training, etc.  This campaign is building access to information and services using digital platforms, to include video-conferencing, a learning management system (LMS) that creatively utilizes mobile app technology so that users can easily dive into, continue, or complete any course whether using their desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. 

• For working capital to hire and pay 1 full-time Administrative Assistant, to free me up to focus on the day to day details of the business, the successful launch of BP Coaching With a Twist Podcast, and the day to day oversight of the BP Online Course Library. The majority of the crowdfunding will be used to recruit and pay the first 6 months of this person's salary.
• For promotional and marketing items to promote the podcast and online library at professional conferences.
• To pay the podcast broadcast network and LMS, who we are already collaborating with regarding content design so the podcast and online library will be launched within weeks of the first $10,000 being raised. A robust learning management system is required to facilitate the interactive online courses that can be accessed using any computerized device. E.g. desktop, laptop, tablet, notepad, smartphone.  The podcast will be used to promote the online library as well as host ten 30-minute episodes and will be broadcast on all major digital radio stations such as iHeart, Spotify, Stitcher, Deezer, Amazon, Apple, iTune, and Pandora.
