• What is the mission of your company or project?

Biophoton Emission Detection Technology in Diagnostics and Theranostics for  Cancer Cure. 

• Describe the problem you are solving.

Cancer is a serious emerging problem at global scale that global HC systems need to cope with.
Strategies to this novel epidemic are far from the optimal resources to ensure the control of epidemical dimension of the problem. 

Given the scarcity of clinical tools for cancer diagnosis and treatment for the increasing of cancer in population,
our Biophotons Advanced Diagnosis Device  is the most clinical efficient solution for cancer prevention,
diagnosis and therapeutical assessment with Biophotons emission detection.

In addition, the challenge of low cost biophotonic diagnosis devices scarcity is closely linked to the lack of biophotonic research,
as cancer in human ecosystem has resulted in an overexploitation of nonscientific based protocols and the subsequent risk for population health safety. 

·         What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? 

The device we intend to create will have small dimensions,

roughly the size of a smartphone,

and will aim to capture biophotons emission signal to serve

as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and treatment.

• Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding?

I am seeking for funding because I am a woman in science and  the lack of  funding for women in science is a real problem that I face every day in my life. Crowdfunding is my last resource to deliver my research work for Humanity health benefits. 

I will spend the funding in equipments for my laboratory to advance with my research work development towards innovative cancer diagnosis and therapy. 

• Who is on your team?

In my current team there are two researchers, Myself and Eng Ricardo and I need to hire a new research member soon in order to adavance with my research work which is a clinical application for cancer diagnosis noninvasive and lowcost APP smartphonebased.
