Better Education. Better Outcomes.
Nurse-owned and operated healthcare career school offering certifications for young adults in a community that is devoid of opportunity.
Project Description
Focal Point Academy of Health is self-funded through the sacrifice and desire of our Founder who is a registered nurse who started as a housekeeper in a hospital almost 30 years ago. Her desire to care for the aged, sick and disabled translated in to creating certification programs that would provide education for all adults, but primarily youth and young adults 16 - 25 years old in an area in Houston, TX that is socially, economically disadvantaged and devoid of educational opportunities. We have many programs we'd like to implement with the end goal of establishing a nursing program. Funding would allow us the support we need to successfully maintain working capital, scale up through aggressive marketing, and to enhance our current programs.
