Fire's aren't always flames. For Lindsay, it's a metaphor of life after witnessing her mother kill her father in self-defense.
Project Description
There are 5 million children living in violent homes in the United States today. There are 40 million adults in the United States who understand because they grew up in one. We are working at connecting victims of domestic violence together with successful existing organizations, while helping support some of those organizations to expand their reach. We are achieving this by bringing light to the subject through a full feature film called "Not Too Far From Here".
"Not Too Far From Here" is the story of teenager Lindsay and how she overcomes the trauma of her fiance raping her best friend while he was at a party and drunk. A situation that she is familiar with because she witnessed her mother Grace, kill her alcoholic father when he was having a fit of rage, when she was only three-years-old.
We are hiring Kevin Sorbo to direct and star in the film as Lindsay's adoptive father, and Beckah Shae to star as Lindsay's adoptive mother. We are also hiring Angelique Midthunder to help cast our leading lady Lindsay.
This film project will help us show 5 million children how to deal with the fires that were meant to destroy them and turn them into the fuel that helps them overcome and inspire hope in the lives of others. We can't do what we do best without your love, care, and support. Because you are a valuable key asset to the process, we've selected some rewards to express our gratitude. If I choose a shirt and it doesn't fit, can I exchange it?

I I want Deborah to come and speak in our community is she able to do that even if I do not become an associate producer?
Yes- associate producers will have access to her schedule first. Once they are booked, her travel agent will contact you. Please send an email to [email protected] Subject: Deborah Speaking Schedule.
I want to purchase tickets to the BBQ scene. Is that possible?
No. But you can purchase tickets to the Beckah Shae Concert being held that day. If you are interested, please email us at [email protected] or call the office at 833-222-PROD (7763)
When will the tickets for the day weekend premiere be available?
The 3 day weekend premiere tickets will go live once we're done filming and can confirm post production company will have project complete on time. Please make sure to visit our website at studio222films.com and subscribe to our newsletter for details.
