WHAT IS ASHMARKS?

AshMarks is a global cremated ash registry.  Now the cremated remains of your loved ones can be kept or released, and the location forever documented by GPS map coordinates with AshMarks. 

AshMarks virtual headstones or pins can be easily located.  Just click on the AshMarks search tool, and type in your loved ones name to locate the coordinates after they have been registered on the AshMarks map.  

AshMarks is responsible for maintaining the current or final resting place record(s) and virtual headstone or pin of the chosen location(s) where the ashes are or were released, scattered or planted.   AshMarks allows you, and your loved ones to mark the member’s special spot forever!

AshMarks is an eco-friendly company that’s mission is to preserving every cremated ash record and ensuring our members, they will never be forgotten. AshMarks will make every effort to ensure our member’s cremated ash location and legacy lives on for future generations.  

WHAT DOES ASHMARKS DO?

AshMarks provides an opportunity for those who choose to be cremated to have a geographically marked spot so that they will not be forgotten. The member or ash recipient will choose how, when, and where to have the ceremony to scattered, planted or release the cremated remains.   This special spot can be selected by the member before their passing and shared with someone to execute their wishes or an ash recipient. These detailed instructions will be left by you for your designated executor or family member.

In the event, that the ashes has been released prior to purchasing a membership for your loved one, no problem!

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

I founded AshMarks for everyone who, like myself, has chosen cremation but doesn’t want to be forgotten or burden their family with the responsibility of maintaining their ashes. 

After researching my family history, I found many of my ancestor’s physical burial locations. However, when it came to finding relatives who chose cremation, the death record didn’t provide a location of the remains where I could pay my respects.  

I also found out that the location(s) of cremated remains are kept confidential. This was heart breaking and it sparked a fear that my loved ones would not remember the exact spot where my ashes were released and, as a result, I would be forgotten.  

In addition, I never liked the idea of creating unnecessary stress for my children while they are grieving the loss of their mother.  I also prefer not to invest into a grave plot and physical headstone as my final resting place.  This made me think of those who could not afford the cost of a grave plot and headstone and how it creates unnecessary debt for their loved ones who are left behind.  

My other concern was regarding not having a physical grave and headstone and how it would affect future loved ones that may want to remember me or learn about my life.  I was concerned that without a physical grave and headstone, no one would have a way of finding or learning about me.  These thoughts and fears led to the creation of AshMarks. 

The creation of AshMarks gave me the comfort of knowing I would not be forgotten.  AshMarks wants to provide you and your family this same comfort by providing a low cost permanent or temporary option. AshMarks will mark your special spot to commemorate your life and contributions by telling your unique story.

It is extremely important to me to keep ash marking at the lowest cost possible so it is available to everyone who wants to be remembered and will be, without having to utilize the expensive alternatives.  

With AshMarks, my goal is to keep the product affordable so that families don’t have to worry about carrying around urns filled with ashes, and/or if the ashes are lost, have the guilt of losing the urn, or releasing the ashes of a loved one.

AshMarks is looking for funding for advertising. 100% of the funds will go to radio, social media and bombard advertising expenses.
