In our relentless pursuit of enhancing the visibility of African fashion, we have crafted a multi-dimensional approach to engage our cherished customers. 

Bridging the gap between innovation and tradition, our platform encompasses an immersive e-commerce website, an enticing subscription box, and a charming boutique located in the heart of Somerville, MA. Through these channels, we have woven connections that resonate far beyond transactions. Our boutique stands as more than just a storefront; it's a sacred space where we have orchestrated moments of cultural convergence and genuine camaraderie. Within its walls, curated events and gatherings come to life, creating a dynamic tapestry of shared experiences that weave the diaspora and local community together in a beautifully intricate pattern. 

In 2017, Elorm Dela-Seshie embarked on a transformative journey to Ghana that birthed Adorn Me Africa, fueled by a compelling mission: to amplify African creative brilliance and forge pathways to economic sustainability. To date we've had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with over 40 innovative brands spanning across 20 diverse African countries.

Elorm's journey has uniquely positioned her to lead the company with unparalleled insight and dedication. With a profound commitment to promoting African craftsmanship and culture, she embarked on a transformative path, culminating in a Masters in Business that equipped her with the strategic acumen to drive the company's growth. 

Our amazing team also consist of Kofi Dotse, our content creation genius and social media manager who is based in Ghana and has worked with renowned brands such as Nestlé and Ghanaian fashion powerhouse Christie Browne. 

Meriam Richidi Aloui joined the team in 2021 as our first enthusiastic sales associate recently promoted to inventory and vendor management specialist and after spending several years in retail and retail management. 

Adorn Me Africa is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive community that resonates deeply with the global-minded individual. Our diverse audience represents a tapestry of perspectives, united by their shared appreciation for the boundless beauty and cultural wealth that Africa has to offer. Whether shopping our retail offerings, engaging in our craft workshops, joining meetups, or attending our vibrant supper club events this community radiates curiosity and a yearning for meaningful connections.

While our core mission is to celebrate and amplify the richness of African culture, we want to emphasize that our community is not limited to the boundaries of the diaspora. We're proud to be a space that extends its arms to friends of Africa, individuals from diverse backgrounds who share a genuine respect and curiosity for the beauty of African culture. Our aim is to foster an environment where connections are made, stories are shared and community is cultivated 

Adorn Me Africa's desire is to help in bridging the gap between the vibrant richness of African heritage and the global consumer market in contemporary fashion, cultural experiences and cuisine, and curated travel. 

Limited Accessibility:  African designers and artisans struggle with limited visibility on the global stage, hindering their ability to reach a broader audience.

Cultural Disconnect: There is a limited understanding of the diversity of African cuisine in the US and very limited exposure in comparison to other global cuisines. 

Misinformation: While interest in African travel is growing, travel to African countries are is often overshadowed by other global destinations and misinformation that Africa is not a noteworthy travel destination despite its many breathtaking landscapes and diverse cultures and incredible opportunities for exploration.
