As a working mom of two young children, I deeply understand the importance of a work life balance. Current options don’t provide the flexibility that we desire for our lifestyle. Oftentimes women are left with the difficult choice between a career focus or family focus.

At Maven Collective, we’re passionate about creating a life where we get to prioritize both. We’re paving a new path for women to work, raise their children, engage with their community, and maintain a healthy lifestyle all in the same inspiring venue.

Maven Collective is a female-centric social club focused on improving lives through coworking, on-site childcare and yoga classes, events, and more. Our goal is to create a supportive, collaborative, and creative environment for the women and children in our community.

About the Founder

I'm on a mission to empower women by providing them with a unique and nurturing environment where they can thrive both personally and professionally. My background in business administration, project management, hospitality, and banking have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create a space that caters specifically to the needs of women in the professional world. I've witnessed the challenges that women face in traditional work settings, and I'm determined to be a part of the solution.

The Building

Maven Collective is opening our first location in downtown, Fargo in Spring 2024. The historic building is currently under renovation to accommodate Maven Collective and new events venue, Synclaire. The building's natural lighting, filtered through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, open floor plans, and original wood detailing with the perfect modern touch, create a warm and inviting ambiance. The third floor will feature six private offices, two private bathrooms, a mothers room, napping room, coworking, event space, and the children’s center. The second floor will be utilized for a focused work setting, away from children, and is available for event rental outside of business hours.

Nanny Program

Maven Collective will work with the community, especially local colleges to contract independent nannies to provide high quality childcare in a unique setting. Our goal is to employ students in the early childhood education field. Each nanny is required to complete the following before being contracted for care:

First Aid/CPR certification

SIDS training

Our online portal will display each nanny, their experience, availability, and any relevant information they would like to share. Members who chose the childcare membership will have the ability to reserve and pay for nannies as needed, with the option of full time, part time, and drop in care for events and yoga classes. We will make an effort to hire extra nannies for large events, school closings and holiday breaks. We will regularly contract locally owned businesses to facilitate yoga classes, projects, activities, music, and more for the children onsite. Nannies and families with a childcare membership will have access to all equipment and supplies in the childcare center including, but not limited to:

Indoor play equipment (for ages 1-3) 

Dramatic play area

Books, blocks, animals, puzzles, art supplies, sensory bins, music instruments, nature & science materials, dramatic play toys

Tables, chairs, open work spaces for children and adults

Highchairs and rocking chairs

Mother’s room (includes crib, rocking chair, sound machine, and mini fridge)

Maven Collective provides complimentary kitchen supplies, coffee, tea, fruit infused water, rotating snack items, wifi, automatic billing, document shredding, scanning, and printing services. 

We also offer the following for-purchase items: specialty beverages, Power Plate Meals, grab and go meals (wraps, salads, sandwiches, and more), and various snack items.

Children’s Event Space

This whimsical wonderland is a magical place designed to bring joy and laughter to little ones of all ages. From themed parties and interactive games to educational workshops and magical storytelling sessions, this space is a canvas for boundless creativity. Catering, decor, and party planning is not provided in the event space rental, however we have a list of recommended vendors.

Event Space

Our event space is thoughtfully designed with the needs of professional women in mind. You'll find comfortable workstations and cozy lounge areas, with a blend of modern design and feminine aesthetics, creating an inviting and uplifting atmosphere. The flexible layout can accommodate various types of events, from workshops and seminars to networking gatherings, holidays, and special events.
