Krystal Palace Catering, LLC offers custom menu options with emphasis on personal & cultural dietary needs, restrictions & respect for local & sustainable product preferences.
All menu items, spice blends and sauces are made from scratch. 

Through funding I hope to secure a prep space & storefront specifically designed to eliminate cross contamination of severe allergens, culturally restricted foods, and unwanted additives or ingredients for my customers. Krystal Palace Catering can offer a unique variety of menu options to those typically hesitant due to dietary conflict as well as those simply seeking new flavors & styles of cuisine. 
 

Following the 2020 closures I successfully built a growing clientele offering meals from an outdoors kitchen & dining space in the yard of our home in the Downtown Grand Rapids area. The  loss of the security of trusted dining options proved especially difficult to individuals & families navigating meals with strict allergy sensitivities, specific dietary restrictions & wishing to maintain personal health choices. I was able to offer my industry peers & community meal options guaranteed to follow any specifications & of local honest ingredients straight from me to their homes. After the first year I expanded to creating weekly meals through area halls, event centers & even  local park facilities. Currently, I offer monthly interactive culinary classes, “Tours of Cuisine” introducing guests to unique dishes & ingredients, and am launching some authentic recipe items for a local butcher deli case.
 

I have worked in the hospitality and culinary industry for over 16 years as a cook, server, bartender, front and back of house trainer, bar manager, line manager, and
chef building a new concept for an established Grand Rapids collection before deciding to build my own business. I have extensive experience & skill in traditional and signature preparation methods and styles of cuisine as well as in dietary & nutrition needs though a background & education in the medical field.
 

My goal is to establish a small prep kitchen & storefront to feature a rotating menu showcasing my style of cuisine to potential catering and personal chef service clients.
I will use this funding to continue building necessary marketing, licensing & inventory and to secure a location for my kitchen & storefront.
This space could also act as a promotional showcase for local artists and vendors to post their services and advertise to the community. Thank you for your interest and consideration in supporting my mission.
