Ancient ritual hair care

Hi! I am Sienna.

I have studied natural herbs, oils and essential oils. I am a certified herbalist, hairstylist in the industry for 12 years, I have taken organic chemistry/green chemistry on the side, have a business and science degree and have read many books on herbal antibiotics and ancient practices. Currently I am studying how the plant matter will break down and help the hair. With help I could get scientific data and the literature of the composition of the ingredients, safety, efficacy and human trials. As of right now there are no product lines on the market that don't have side effects when trying to grow your hair back or treat scalp issues.

We are constantly being poisoned and my goal is to make a difference for people who struggle with hair loss due to stress, genetics, chemo, alopecia or Trichotillomania etc. Bad scalp health is also very huge so helping treat psoriasis and eczema is also in my current studies. I have done most formulations involving the ph testing, natural silicones, surfactants, herbs and oils used, natural emulsifiers, bonding agents etc. My goal is to make an all natural hair care line with a decent shelf life. It’s also very important for me to make my products affordable. The beauty industry is getting very expensive and that's why some people don’t invest in products that can help them. Yes, it is a luxury but it also affects mental health so making it affordable is at the top of my list. 

I don't think there are any other hairstylists that are as passionate about what is being put on their clients' biggest organ of their body (skin) like I am. The experience I give is on a different level. I educate my clients about what is good for them in hair care, skincare and advise them spiritually. I don’t try to sell the next big thing for a commission because I truly care about what is going in and out of everyone’s body and if it’s not to my standards, it doesn’t come out of my mouth. I am also a master Reiki practitioner and offer reiki energy healing while my clients get their hair done. I incorporate many things for scalp treatments with herbs, oils and crystals. I also use tuning fork sound therapy. Everything is energy, Including plants and crystals so it all helps align us a little better when our bodies are off tune with the universe. Even our hair holds onto energy and that is why haircuts can be so cathartic. I come from a long time of medicine men and women because I am Cherokee, Choctaw and Sioux native american and following in my ancestors footsteps. We live in a world we aren't made for with so much access at our fingertips which leads to stress and stress is the number one cause of death, autoimmune diseases, hair loss etc. Having more natural products on the market is very important to me and to take people to a place when all we needed was nature. 

My formulation is vegan, color safe, cruelty free, gluten free, hypoallergenic, carbon conscious, ethical sourcing, no sulfates, no parabens, no synthetic anything, no mineral oil. I use many natural ingredients that intertwine different cultures. That is my goal. We are all connected and that is huge for this project.. adding ancient beauty practices and making everyone feel like they have some history in this hair care line. 

I have high standards for INCI Compliance, Market Claims, Product Registration, Trademark Search and Registration products with outstanding quality produced according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Stability, Compatibility, Preservative Challenge and Shelf Life.

In my studies I have found that there are a lot of natural resources for hair growth that aren’t used including natural flavonoids, as well as microbiol biotransformed extracts because like our stomachs, our hair biome can be thrown off. Caffeine is a given and so are some plants. There isn’t anything really on the market that targets the anagen receptor phase and with the ingredients I have formulated it won’t spike in estrogen like a lot of products on the market because there are no chemicals.

My line will help:

anagen (growing phase), catagen (regressing phase), and telogen (resting phase). It will not have too much protein so there is no chance for an overload. Shampoo ph will be alkaline around 5-6 to open up the cuticle. Conditioner ph will be acidic between 2.5 and 4.5 to close the cuticle and keep in hydration and vitamins. I have plants, herbs and oils in my formulation that have already been studied extensively to help with hair loss. 

It is very important to me to have someone transparent and dedicated to help people. I don’t want short cuts or to have to compromise my ethics to get the project to work. If something does not work, I will have to pay more to do more research. If this development takes a long time, so be it. Money comes and goes but helping the world in my lifetime is most important to me. My job is a lot of energy work so I deal with all kinds of people and feeling so much sadness in the world shakes your core. There’s only so much words can do. I need help. Please join my dream.
