About the coach
Ashley Orfus is a PR Strategist with over a decade of experience in the industry. Ashley Orfus started ALAB Group, an integrated marketing and communications consultancy, 10 years ago to combat the changing landscape of communications and the expectations consumers and media have in interacting and engaging with brand messaging. With a background in the luxury, retail and entertainment industries, Ashley noticed that service needs were changing due to the rise of e-commerce, yet PR agencies still clung to outdated marketing models. Ashley founded ALAB with the intent of disrupting outmoded models by developing a more responsive, integrated approach to communications — one that pilots clients through an ever-shifting business landscape, keeps pace with current audiences, and can be tailored to serve companies big or small. Ashley has worked with several notable clients including Verizon Wireless, QUILT, Blender, and SPIN.
