The Workroom is a creative and collaborative co-working space & community of women entrepreneurs working together in pursuit of individual as well as collective success. The Workroom is a culture of women saying yes to change, equality, and equity. At The Workroom we are creating wealth for women by women. More than just a space and more than just real estate what makes The Workroom unique is our commitment to educating and providing opportunity to female entrepreneurs. Our key to our members' success is our programming and recycling of wealth, opportunity and knowledge.

The Problem vs. The Solution

The Workroom solves the immediate need for a space in Boston where women can gather, create, and collaborate. It provides progress in creating a solution that answers the need for women’s access to funding, capital and opportunity. Today there are over 11 million women-led businesses in the United States, who employ nearly 9 million and generate approximately $1.7 trillion in sales, yet the Senate reports that women face unequal access to funding & mentorship and take longer to grow because of these challenges.

Women in Boston and beyond are faced with many obstacles and much like in corporate they face discrimination, lack of opportunity and lack of options. We are asking for your help to create progress for women. We can’t continue to ask for the jobs we want. We must create them. We cant continue to ask for a fair workplace but create one for us and others. Whether you will grow your business in our physical space or from home, we ask that you help us create this space and tear down some of the many obstacles women face. Will you turn a blind eye as we’ve done for years, decades, and centuries or will you be a part of “herstory”

What if there was a new standard for how women are treated in business? What if someone decided to create the workplace we’ve been talking about where women are treated equally and compensated for their efforts and performance fairly? What if there was a sisterhood of women who understood the disparities and obstacles of women and were intentional about helping another woman as they also build. The Workroom is more than just another space. We are a community and we are ready to create the change we want to see. The Workroom is a co-working space for women, a support system for mothers creating a legacy for their children, a sisterhood and community that is intentional about changing the world our daughters as well as sons will see.

Located in the Greater Boston Area, The Workroom is scheduled to open its doors in September 2018. Our co-working space is an exclusive space for women to create connect and collaborate. More than just 9,000 square feet of private office and co-working space our members enjoy more than anything our programming and amenities which are constantly being added.
