The Women Funding Women initiative seeks to start and sustain the conversation of women in business investing in and supporting each other while growing individually. We are determined to give grants to women in business every quarter while offering them the tools they need to excel in their industries such as coaching and mentoring, accounting services, equipment, other in kind gifts, inspiration through awards, events, and much more.
Although women's contributions to the economy by way of their businesses is at an all time high...only 2.2% of venture capital is being given to businesses with female founders. We simply aren't being given the access to funding that we need to thrive. Another issue we're facing which ties into the lack of funding, in my opinion, is the lack of female investors. The Women Funding Women Initiative seeks to conquer both problems by creating a constant source of funding sustained by the women who need the funding the most.
With the proper funding The Women Funding Women Initiative will reach more women in business, provide even more grants, and make a difference for this generation of female entrepreneurs as well as the next. The funds from this campaign will be used to expand the Initiative's visibility and reach by purchasing marketing materials including but not limited to such as tee shirts, post cards, flyers, press releases, tv and radio spots, and social media ads. They will also be used to give one or more grants to a woman or women in business.It is my goal to get American women who own businesses in the mindset of giving and believing that they will receive what they need ten fold. This campaign will fund the evolution of the way women entrepreneurs get funded and more importantly the way we support each other.
The Women Funding Women Initiative was founded by a mother, business owner, and student who knows all too well how the lack of funding can hinder the pursuit of your dreams.
At start the Initiative is a one-woman mission. With the proper support, we can and will reach the 13 million women owned business owners in the US and get them involved. We will take back the power of funding our dreams and ambitions. Together, we will.
To the people who believe in the good empowered women can do, Thank you! From the very bottom of my heart I want to thank you for helping a young mother and business owner born in the lower class area of New York break the cycle of defeat when it comes to women chasing their dreams and pursuing their passions. Thank you, for sacrificing even a dollar to inspire and support our success. Without you we can't. Together, we can!

- How does this work?
The Women Funding Women initiative is able to give grants and support the funding of women in business by creating a network of women in business who pool their contributions each quarter to invest in fellow women founded brands. The network gives 3 "private grants" to it's members and 1 "community grant" to a non member each year. This is to encourage the members to continue to invest in each other and themselves.
- Will you only provide grants?
No! It is our mission to support our community by way of coaching, mentoring, free services as well as funding for professional and educational purposes. Our vision is to be a community that provides unlimited value to the journey's of female entrepreneurs We will do so in whatever ways possible.
- What kind of events will you have?
We will have different events in different states that include but aren't limited to day parties, roof top award ceremonies, retreats, and much more. The awesome thing about a WFW event is that proceed go toward the event grant. Someone gets a grant at EVERY event.
- Is this Initiative back by a non profit?
No. The Women Funding Women initiative is a for profit business that's main goal and mission is to support the social good. We are not a non-profit due to the restrictions running a nonprofit entails such as limited lobbying and supporting political causes. We reserve the right to shout our cause from the rooftops of the white house if that will help serve our purpose.
