Xclusive Curves Boutique is a bridal boutique that caters to the much curvier woman. Xclusive Curves will be located in the Tanger Outlet Mall located at 2100 S Tanger Blvd, Gonzalos, Louisiana 70737. Our doors will be open February 2020. Xclusive Curves Bridal is a woman-owned business currently organized as a Limited Liability Corp. 

For a woman getting married, her wedding gown holds more significance beyond being just an article of clothing she wears on her wedding day. There is a story behind the gown—why she chose it, who she was with when she decided it was the one, how many bridal stores and dresses she went through before deciding on this particular dress. The purchase of her wedding gown is a very momentous occasion, and should be adequately celebrated. This experience is so much more frustrating when you are a much curvier woman and the experience is not so great with many travels and getting disappointed due to limited styles and dresses that actually fit. With my very own experience, it was a very frustrating and I left those shops feeling very disappointed and in that moment I decided to research and open a bridal boutique that you not just give an experience but make an event out of it. 

However, there are not many opportunities to make the shopping experience an event,  this is where Xclusive Curves Bridal comes into play. Providing the bride and her family and friends with hors d’oeuvres and cake,champagne, and professional photography servicing in addition to exclusive, a large selection of bridal wear and accessories, the shopping trip instantly becomes a true event that will allow for more attention on the very important bride (VIB) and what she wants to wear on her big day. The Bride will be able to select from a catering menu her choice of food and beverage selection that she would like to have at her event as well as having male/female waiters catering to the VIB and her FAMILY & FRIENDS. 

With doing my research over 68% percent of American women are plus-size yet it is estimated that there is only 1 dedicated plus-size apparel store for every 30 specialty apparel stores. To date, the fashion industry has starting to recognized the dire need to this under-served market for the curvier women. 

XCB believe there are three main issues we are seeing for plus-size brides today: 

1. Design – there aren’t enough dresses designed with her plus-sized body in mind 
2. Options – it is hard for her to find samples to try in her size 
3. Experience – stores don’t provide a fun or supportive environment

XCB will conquer these three major challenges that plus size brides experience today – 

 68% of American women are considered plus size today, and with over 2 million women buying a wedding dress each year, more than half of those brides are shopping for dresses size 14 and up. (sources listed below) By doing the quick math, the plus-size wedding gown industry is worth well over $2 billion each year, and we feel there isn't many bridal shops really focusing on it especially in the South. We have watched over the past few years as fashion has woken up to this consumer need.

XCB will be located Tanger Outlet Mall in Gonzales, LA, our space is approximatly 3,000 sq ft of space. We will several designers even our very own bridal dress collection. We will have a large selections of wedding dresses to choose from. Our goal is to have at-least 50 different styles to choose from. Our VIBs will feel extremely special and comfortable with knowing that when she comes to her appointment with her friends & family that she will be coming into a bridal shop catering to the her and her needs. 
 

XCB The funding will allow us to purchase more inventory, accessories, working capital, Signage and furnishings.

XCB Team will consist of the Owner and 2 professional bridal stylist.
