The most in-demand products for haircare in 2021, were those that addressed scalp health and hair growth. The fastest growing consumer segment for haircare in 2021 was something called "Mass Luxury".  These consumers, both men and women, are value conscious shoppers, but they're willing to spend more for premium products that address their needs–like scalp care and hair growth–and are made using clean ingredients with eco-friendly packaging. These consumers want all that at a $30-$34 price point.

We hit all those must-haves on consumer wishlists!  Working with one of the top formulators in the industry, we developed a premium formula using ingredients proven to promote scalp health and hair growth. Our shampoos are full of good things, none of the bad, and they'll be made right here in sunny Southern California.

Our packaging will be made with Oceanworks^R plastic. Oceanworks^R is the largest global marketplace for sustainable materials and they specialize in accessing ocean and shoreline plastic. This ocean and shoreline plastic finds new life in things like our shampoo bottles. Our packaging is easily recycled again using your curbside recycling program. 

And, HOORAY! Our price point is hitting that sweet spot of $30-$34!

Through bootstrapping–and with a little help from some amazing beauty industry magic-makers, plus one heckuva formulator–we’ve got our shampoo in stability testing for 3 fragrances: peppermint, orange and unscented. It works for ALL hair types.

We’ve developed a fantastic leave in conditioner and detangler.  (psst...because conditioners do not work well as an anhydrous formula, we opted to go the traditional route for this product)

Tooling is underway for some AWESOME custom bottles and caps made with Oceanworks^R plastic.

We have 3 BIG targets to hit this fall to bring Vacaville shampoo to market:
$30K tooling, $30K packaging, $40K manufacturing
