I wanted to touch base and let you know how things are going with The Art of the Possible campaign. The campaign has revealed some wonderful and unexpected insights too good not to share.
The quickness with which people responded to my call for funding has been incredible. Family, friends, colleagues and strangers donated what they could for what they considered a worthy cause. Some even donated their rewards for others to use. I’ve conducted 5 consultations for people who might otherwise not been able to afford it. It’s been very emotional to be on the receiving end of your generosity.
Another heartwarming result of this fundraising effort has been connecting with folks who were strangers before and are now kindred spirits. I’ve had conversations with some of them and are learning about important work they are doing for their communities. As a result, I have volunteered to assist them in ways to further their philanthropy. That means the world to me.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is how important it is to share the campaign with others. Interestingly, I have connected to people I did not know, but had received notice of the campaign through their network. Spreading the word via social media, email, calls or texts really does make a difference and costs nothing!
Because of The Art of the Possible, I am feeling more comfortable with the choice I made to commit to my art, share my gift and grow my business. I am confident I will attain my objectives. I am on the right path and I have you to thank for taking this journey with me. I’ll continue to provide updates as the campaign progresses.
