We hope you have been well, today we wanted to share an update on the Artbook Rewards and progress on the prologue.
Digital Artbook

Prologue Progress
We are continuing work on the Crescent Cove area and starting pre-production for Cave of Reflection. To view the progress and photos on this please sign up for our newsletter here:
We have also started working on yokai spirits such as an Oni and working on lore for the Spirit World levels.

Power Dynamics
The rulers of the spirit world are the greater kami. They maintain peace in their own realm while keeping an eye on the goings-on in the mortal world.
The kami are more directly involved in the mortal world, often being tied to a particular place or family.
Spirits may serve a specific kami or greater kami, or may simply exist as independent inhabitants of the Spirit World. Certain yokai are antagonistic towards kami, especially the more powerful ones.
Border Between Mortal and Spirit World
Moving between spirit and mortal world generally requires having some tie to a specific place there (e.g. being a kami) or utilizing the power of a greater kami or yokai. The Shivelight Grove shrine contains a mirror once blessed by the Grain-bearer, which can be used to grant passage to the mortal realm and vice versa. It was formerly sealed away to prevent misuse, but has been briefly unsealed to allow Kazeyo passage. Protecting this artifact is one of the fox spirit's jobs.
There are places and times where the veil between the worlds is thinner, allowing yokai and spirits to sneak into the mortal world, usually to cause havoc; this generally ends with humans calling on the power of kami to call them back. More rarely, mortals will beckon their ancestor spirits forth, allowing them to temporarily reunite.
Other Updates
We participated in the Women's Day Steam Event last month which helped us increase our wishlists to 6k+!! We enjoyed the event, we've also recently been building up content on our youtube channel doing dev vlogs, showing teasers, and more.

For the prologue release date, we plan on launching the prologue next year and a month following starting a Kickstarter for the full game. We're aiming to launch the prologue Q1 2023. We're still working out the specifics but wanted to share those plans. We will share more deets as we get closer to the date! :)
