The response to Black Lives Matters turned my hobby into a proof of concept overnight. COVID affected how I make pottery as I traveled 80-100 miles per kiln load and spent $60-75 per fire. I was working on a broken system and had to face this fact.
It took a lot of humility to start a studio fund on iFundWomen, and this experience has challenged me to push beyond my comfort. Thank you for helping me acquire a kiln.

January will mark a year from when I decided to give professional pottery a try. 2020 has been a cocktail of extreme highs and lows as we deal with rapid adjustments and uncertainty.
I’m rooted in the faith of persistence and the acts of humanity we grace each other with. Thank you for seeing the beauty in my work—and thank you for seeing the humanity in challenges I’ve faced this year.
