Trymyfab: A New Way To Natural

Although over 75% of African American women maintain their hair in its naturally curly state, the vast majority of us are struggling to maintain our curls due to three factors: 1) Time - we waste a ridiculous amount of time searching for and applying unqualified and inaccurate information; 2) Money - we collectively spend billions of dollars annually testing and purchasing products and tools that ultimately don’t work for our curls; 3) Hair Equity - despite having such significant buying power and demonstrated need, we have very few tools and support to personalize hair care at our disposal.

Trymyfab is a natural hair care personalization and automation platform focused on building tools that simplify and automate natural hair care. We value innovation, education, authenticity, integrity, community, and of course fun. Our goal is to bring elements of the naturally curly lifestyle together to create a network of easily accessible and personalized information, services, products, tools, and experiences. 

Trymyfab is solving this problem by providing technology that uses machine learning to automate regimen building and monitoring for naturals giving our members back hours of their valuable time. We also provide personalized recommendations on products that can be sampled and then purchased, drastically reducing the cost of ongoing curl care. Our services also close the loop on traditionally siloed sectors within the hair care industry by providing direct access to hair care professionals for advice and appointments. And watch out because we’re just getting started!

We’re raising $20,000 to bring our app out of beta and make it publicly available to the world. These funds will go towards the development of new features in our existing platform and building native ios and android mobile apps.
