Project Description
My name is Sade, & I am the founder of TrendSA. I started the idea of TrendSA the summer going into my senior year of high school back in 2018. My mother started her own business back in 2016 & it inspired me to start my own. When I first started the idea of my business I didn't know what went into starting a business. I thought it was all about the website, inventory & promotion. I was quickly proven wrong. I began to struggle to maintain & figure out the first thing to do once I became public with the website. I had visitors exploring the website, but no inventory on hand, nowhere to store the inventory, & my vendors weren't the best to work with. I didn't do the research I should have before putting my business out to the public. After years of putting my business on a well-needed hiatus, I have had the time to do the research that I need to make a well-thought-out business plan, connect with designers, and manufacturers, & put together an even better vision for the line I intended to create. I am a very driven woman & I always go for the things I put my mind to. I am very optimistic & always see the cup as half full. If I get knocked down I unpack & find solutions to be better. However, I didn't know what my true calling was until this year. I can say, with the trials & tribulations my business has been through, God has always kept me grounded & directed me to the people I needed to meet, and the things I needed to do & kept me on the clear path that I needed to be on. No matter how many times I've started & stopped working on my business I've only gotten further & gained insight, which led me here. In this past year, I have done a lot of research to assure myself that I am in fact ready to take my business to the ultimate level & prosper. I will be a very successful business woman & TrendSA will be known for luxury fashion as well as a comfortable style. It will be a well-known name nationwide, & one day, worldwide.
- TrendSA's mission is to ensure everyone woman looks & feels good when sporting our brand's clothing
- TrendSA provides a luxury feel as well as comfortable clothing to women ages 16+
- I plan to invest in a warehouse for my inventory, the designers I am currently connected with & the manufacturers I intend to work with. With anything I have left, I will invest it into my web design & marketing to reach my demographic audience.
- I am the founder/owner & work for myself, however, I do plan to hire an assistant when TrendSA hits a high level of success
