Project Description
Hello, my name is Theresa and my business is Malkia Essentials, LLC. The mission of my company is to help men and women of color with hair repair and healthy hair growth without the use of any harmful chemicals. Each one of my products prevents dry, itchy scalp, relieves dandruff, and repairs damaged hair, and promotes healthy hair growth. According to Grand View Research, in 2017 the market size for vegan products was 12.9 million world wide and is continuing to grow as more people are seeking cruelty free products. My company focuses on producing products that helps with healthy hair repair and growth with the use of 100% plant based and organic ingredients. The problems that my products solve are dryness, brittle hair, dry itchy scalp, and hair thinning. I am currently seeking funding because I am ready to finally launch my business and I need the capital to maintain the orders. I will use the funding to purchase ingredients for my products, materials and supplies such as: blenders, labels, jars, etc; and I will also use some of the funds for marketing to bring awareness to my business. I am currently working alone on my business, but in the future plan to have a team as the company grows.
