Tennis Recycles is an organization whose mission is to implement sustainable solutions in tennis.
Project Description
Did you know that over 325 million tennis ball are purchased each year? Less than a fraction of one percent of them are recycled. Tennis Recycles was created to change that. We are an organization working toward sustainable solutions in tennis. In 2019, our goal is to implement a tennis ball recycling system in New York City + the greater New York area's over 80 tennis courts. In the long-term, our mission is to drive awareness and establish a system across the entire US.
YOUR support makes all the difference!
The support of the community is what made a pilot program with the NYC Public Parks possible in 2018; this year it will help to expand recycling efforts and prevent more tennis balls from ending up in landfills.
