What is the mission of your company or project?
This invention refers to a temporary tattoo to identify and report on individuals. The system of non permanent tattoos with QR code and/or NFC chip that allows access to relevant information about an individual in an emergency or a situation that requires immediate care or help. The personal information may be read from any Smartphone, as long as you have the device to read these codes. Sending MSM to parents, legal guardian or responsible person reporting the reading and geolocation, as well as the contact information of the closest centres of interest to the reading point: hospitals, police.
Describe the problem you are solving.
The innovation lies in using codes on a temporary tattoo paper on the skin so as to have access to significant information. For example, when children are on the beach, they can wear a bracelet with their name and telephone number, but any person can see this information and use it in a malicious way. If the child carries a code, it must be read (from any Smartphone) in a clear and useful manner; and it only can be done if there is a problem or the child needs to be identified. The code makes possible to have detailed information attached (not only name and telephone). Children with a rare or uncommon disease that go to a camp far from home require a fast and prompt access to their clinical data. The Data Protection Law is always observed because when the legal guardian, responsible person or parents enter the personal data, they sign a consent. When this reading occurs, the person who has entered the information knows by SMS that the reading is being done and by geolocation the parents will know the place where it happens, as well as the centres of interest, such as hospitals, police, civil protection, etc. in the area. A computer is not required to enable the assisting person to know the identity and data of the lost person (children, elderly people or mental patient). The temporary tattoo for identification and information about children, elderly, sick and /or disabled people is based on a special paper (hectograph paper) to make temporary tattoos on the skin, where a previously created QR code is printed with water resistant ink; and optionally, a NFC electronic chip may be also added inside. This makes access to a platform through an App mobile device that provides information of interest about a person (child, elderly, sick or disabled), to be used by security or health care professionals.

What is the market size/opportunity?
"Tattoo be Safe” is targeted to a specific and well defined market niche of potential customers (dependant people and/ or with rare diseases), taking advantage of the changing trends in the world population.
6,3% of the Spanish people over the age of 60 suffer from some degree of dementia. Only France (6,5%) and Italy (6,4%) are ahead of Spain in this ranking It is estimated that there are 50 million people in the world with dementia and the prevalence of autism in 8-year-old children in the United States is 1 in 59, 1.7%.

What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? The size of the tattoo is at least 1,5 x 1,5 cm and at most is 6 x 6 cm. It is washable, non-toxic and can be applied on sensitive skin. The tattoo lasts up to a week if not rubbed, it is waterproof and easy to remove.
Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding?
The information hidden in the tattoo can be consulted by any professional just by passing the smartphone over. Also, when reading occurs and thanks to a geolocation system, the tutor, doctor, police or any person responsible for the person carrying the tattoo is informed by an SMS that someone has made the query and the specific point from which it has been done. This technology and product are being developed by two Spanish universities, by computer engineering departments. In these moments I need investment to be able to continue with the development and research contracts that will end in November of 2019
